The episode opens with Adrija excitedly showing her engagement ring to Meghla, who smiles and praises her. Nearby, Mahua talks to Ranbir, pointing out that while he belongs to a large family, hers is small—just four people—and they have to manage all the wedding preparations themselves. Ranbir agrees, and Mahua warmly invites him to stay with them for a few days after the marriage, though he worries about taking time off work. At the same time, tension brews between Zoravar and Meher. Zoravar claims he only asked for her love, but Meher questions why he never saw a doctor despite feeling unwell. He brushes it off, accusing her of not trusting him, and sinks into despair, saying he no longer wants to live. Meher, hurt and worried, pleads with him to stop, reminding him of their years together and their children. She tries to comfort him, explaining that love can show itself in many ways, even if it’s not always obvious.

Meanwhile, Meghla tastes the dish Adrija is preparing, adding lemon and coriander to finish it. Adrija speaks about how marriage and finding the right husband and in-laws depend on luck. She calls Mahua to come eat, while Chandan expresses concern about Meghla attending the sangeet given her health. Ranbir insists he won’t force Meghla to come, and Chandan thanks him for understanding. When Adrija insists she’ll only eat after Ranbir tries the food, Ranbir finally tastes it and is impressed. Chandan also tries the dish and compliments Adrija, but he notices something odd: Meghla’s hand has a haldi mark from the ceremony, but Adrija’s hands are perfectly clean, even though she was supposedly cooking. Curious, Chandan asks Meghla to show her hands, but she avoids the question, making Ranbir suspicious.
As the evening unfolds, Zoravar’s pain deepens. He admits to Meher that he truly loves her, more than anyone else, and is anguished by their emotional distance. Meher, despite her own hurt, assures him she’s been by his side through thick and thin. She begs him not to give up and promises to stay with him no matter what. Zoravar, overwhelmed by emotion, cries, and Meher joins him in tears, their shared pain breaking through the walls between them.
Back at the dining table, Mahua praises Adrija for making such delicious food, saying she’s passing every test thrown her way. Ranbir and Chandan exchange thoughtful looks, sensing there’s more beneath the surface. Ranbir’s gaze lingers on Meghla, unsettled by what he suspects. The episode closes with Ranbir confronting Guru ji, accusing him of arranging Meghla’s alliance with another man. Guru ji denies any involvement, but Ranbir isn’t convinced. His suspicion turns toward Adrija, and he wonders if she has been dishonest with him.
