Jhanak 5th August 2025 Written Update Starlife
The episode begins with Vihaan confronting Jhanak about whether she truly doesn’t know Anirudh. Jhanak questions why he keeps repeating the same thing and wonders if he believes she’s lying. Vihaan tells her that he does think she’s hiding the truth. When Jhanak asks what Anirudh said, Vihaan tells her that Anirudh claimed to have seen her. Jhanak denies noticing him, saying it’s possible he saw her, but she didn’t see him. She also finds it strange that he would recognize her from just a glimpse. Vihaan grows more certain that Jhanak is keeping something from him. He starts to suspect there’s something between Jhanak, Anirudh, and Arshi, and thinks maybe Arshi knows the truth. Despite these doubts, Vihaan admits to himself that he has strong feelings for Jhanak, even though he’s not sure whether it’s right or wrong. When Jhanak asks if he wants to say more, he tells her he’ll speak when the time is right.

Jhanak warns him not to cross boundaries, reminding him that she’s a married woman. Vihaan tries to push further by offering to drop her at her husband’s place, but Jhanak firmly refuses, saying if she wanted to go back to her husband, she would have done it already, and then she walks away. The next morning, Jhanak calls Pulkit to remind him about Priyanshi’s inter-school competition. She’s worried that Priyanshi might not be allowed to go, especially with Ketki’s restrictions. Pulkit assures her that he won’t let Priyanshi miss such an important event and promises to help. Jhanak then excitedly shares the update with Priyanshi and Mehek. Mehek comments that Priyanshi is fortunate to have someone like Pulkit supporting her. Pulkit tells Priyanshi he wants her to win a trophy and give it to him as a gift, and he vows to make sure she continues her education even after marriage. Priyanshi thanks Jhanak and expresses how much she’ll miss her. Jhanak replies that she’ll miss Priyanshi too but feels proud that she’s getting a chance to follow her dreams.
Meanwhile, Tanuja ties a black thread on Arshi’s wrist to protect her. Anirudh promises to keep Arshi safe and tells her he wants to take her somewhere new, which makes her happy. As Priyanshi prepares to leave, Jhanak reminds her not to forget the ghungroo in her bag and encourages her to dance with confidence. Prachi feels nervous, but Jhanak comforts her and says that with Pulkit’s support, everything will go smoothly. Prachi praises Jhanak’s strength, and Priyanshi says she’s only able to chase her dreams because Jhanak is standing by her. Prachi quietly shares her concerns with Mehek, saying that Priyanshi will soon realize the heavy cost of chasing her dreams. But Mehek remains hopeful, telling her that Priyanshi is destined to achieve them and that even Pulkit will one day feel proud to call her his wife. Still worried, Prachi wonders aloud what they’ll tell Ketki if she asks where Priyanshi is. Mehek thinks for a moment and suggests they simply say Priyanshi isn’t allowed to step out of the house right now. She adds that if Jhanak were around more often, Ketki might not even bother to ask.
As they talk, Prachi reminds everyone that the haldi ceremony is about to begin. Jhanak responds calmly, saying she’ll join in once she helps Priyanshi leave the house. Priyanshi, clearly anxious, urges Jhanak to hurry, saying they’re already running late. Mehek teases her playfully, saying she’s clearly eager to see Pulkit. Blushing a little, Priyanshi admits it’s not just that—she’s nervous about the competition too. Prachi tries to comfort her, saying that Sejal knows about the competition and will likely help cover for her. Jhanak turns to Prachi, gently encouraging her to be happy for Priyanshi. She reminds her that Priyanshi has big ambitions and that Pulkit’s support is proof that he values her potential. She also remarks that while Sejal may be content with the way her life has turned out, not everyone’s journey looks the same—and that’s okay. As Jhanak prepares to leave with Priyanshi, she urges Prachi to think only of Priyanshi’s future and asks her to give her blessings. Priyanshi bows before Prachi, who places her hand on her head and says she hasn’t done much for her, but if Priyanshi succeeds in fulfilling her dream, it’ll be more than enough. Jhanak assures them they won’t get caught, and Prachi tells her to take the back way out of the house. The girls quickly leave.
Meanwhile, Ketki asks Sejal where Prachi and Jhanak are. Sejal looks around and points out that even Mehek is missing, then adds that it’s Priyanshi’s competition day—they’re probably up to something. Soon after, Prachi and Mehek appear. Ketki questions them about Jhanak, and Prachi casually replies that she’s busy making rangoli. Mehek adds a compliment about how beautiful Jhanak’s rangoli usually is. Prachi then changes the subject, saying it’s time to begin the haldi ceremony. The mood lightens, music starts playing, and the women begin dancing. Outside, Jhanak and Priyanshi step out cautiously, their faces covered with veils. Bhavesh notices them and stops to ask where they’re headed. Thinking quickly, Jhanak lies, saying Ketki has given them some work to do outside. Satisfied with the answer, Bhavesh walks back inside. As they walk away, Priyanshi thanks Jhanak for everything. Jhanak smiles and says Pulkit’s support is valuable, and he deserves admiration for standing by her. Just then, they spot Pulkit’s car. Jhanak wishes Priyanshi luck and watches with quiet pride as she gets in and drives off.
Back inside, Sejal becomes suspicious after noticing the anxious looks on Prachi and Mehek’s faces. She turns to Jhanak and asks where Priyanshi is. Jhanak lies again, saying she hasn’t seen her and assumes she must still be in her room. Ketki enters the room, scolding Jhanak for being late, and orders her to bring some sweets. At the airport, Vihaan picks up Anirudh and Arshi. On the way home, Arshi curiously asks about Vihaan’s wife. He casually responds that she’s caught up with the wedding preparations. Once they reach Vihaan’s house, he mentions the haldi ceremony taking place today.
