Kunal quickly straightens up and holds out his hand to Nandini, concern written all over his face. She hesitates at first, unsure whether to accept it, but when she struggles to stand on her own, she finally takes his help. He gently guides her inside the hotel, reminding her that as a doctor, it is his duty to care for her injuries. Nandini protests, insisting that since they are leaving tomorrow, their family doctor can handle it. Raaj intervenes, noting that there are old bruises that might not be bleeding but still need attention. Nandini quickly brushes it off, claiming she slipped in the bathroom. Kunal, however, speaks with a calm but firm tone, explaining that bruises tell stories to doctors, and hiding the truth is often worse than the act itself. Though Nandini seems confused at first, he continues, gently hinting that he understands the kind of fear women endure in abusive relationships, subtly asking if her husband has a temper. Nandini interrupts immediately, unwilling to discuss it.

Kunal asks for her real name to fill out the medical form. She replies, “Mrs. Rajdeep Thakur,” but he emphasizes that he needs her actual identity, not just recognition. As he carefully dresses her hand, he speaks from experience, revealing that he is married and understands the delicate nature of relationships. He talks about how marriage is meant to be a partnership built on equality, trust, and respect, where anger and disagreements exist but fear and physical harm have no place. He explains that small actions, care, and understanding often determine whether a marriage succeeds or fails. Nandini nods in agreement, reflecting on the balance of forgiveness, compromise, rights, and responsibilities that every partnership requires. She expresses that her husband means the world to her and that she wants to return to him as soon as her hand is treated. Kunal reassures her, admitting he cannot tolerate injustice, and hands her his card, telling her to reach out if she ever needs help.
Soon, Raaj comes looking for Nandini, visibly concerned. He gently kisses her forehead, and Kunal notices that the bruises are more than the ones visible. Raaj explains that the most recent one came from hitting the corner of the bed and that he even applied ointment, trying to minimize the damage. Kunal calmly points out that repeated falls suggest a concerning pattern, admitting that he would have had to call the police if Raaj hadn’t arrived. After Kunal leaves, Raaj becomes overbearing, reminding Nandini of Kunal’s warning, teasing and pressuring her while she tries to stay composed.
Meanwhile, Kunal speaks to Mauli over the phone, sharing his excitement about their upcoming wedding. He reflects on the women he sees who endure abuse quietly, never speaking out, and expresses how lucky he feels to have Mauli as his partner, friend, and life companion. Mauli, exhausted from her busy day, falls asleep during the call, leaving Kunal amused and calling the habit cute.
Back at home, Raaj grills Nandini about what she said to Kunal, but she denies sharing anything. He goes on to list all the efforts he has made for her and criticizes the mistakes she made in return. He warns her that the children’s doctor they visited could take serious action if he reports the bruises. Finally, he tells her to sit on the couch and rest. Later, Nandini and Raaj share a quiet moment on the balcony, reading the same poetry under the moonlight, a fleeting calm amidst the tension.
The next morning, Mauli struggles with the usual chaos at home. Her mother insists she sit and eat, but as soon as she steps away, Mauli is pulled into household work again. Kunal calls her while on the road, and they plan to meet at the theater at 3 pm for a movie. Mauli leaves home, hoping to make it on time. At the same time, Nandini watches a television show that advises wives to win back their husbands’ affection with songs or food, stirring her thoughts. Mauli, meanwhile, signs her weekend hospital shifts but is faced with an emergency case, which she volunteers to handle, ignoring Kunal’s repeated calls. Kunal has already purchased the tickets, popcorn, and drinks, calling her urgently to hurry, but she explains she thought the movie was later. Kunal reminds her of the rule she set—Saturdays are their time together, Sundays with family. Mauli apologizes but says she cannot come, prompting Kunal to hang up angrily, leaving her calls unanswered.
