Mukta confides in Neil, saying she only wishes for Teju to marry into a family where she will be cherished. Surprising her, Neil admits he wants to marry Teju himself—if both she and Teju agree. At the same time, Teju and Vedaant are relieved when a crow eats Mohit’s offering, taking it as a positive sign. But Mukta firmly tells Neil that his proposal can never work. She explains that the Chavans already assume he will marry Juhi, and since they have been kind enough to shelter her and her children, she will not allow Teju’s future to disrupt Juhi’s life. When Neil asks if she believes he is unworthy of Teju, Mukta insists he is the best match she could dream of, but the marriage is impossible.

Elsewhere, Lakshmi criticizes Neil for taking Mukta and her children to the pooja. She tells Leena and Vinod that Satish strongly opposed it and even offered Neil a separate time for them to visit the temple, but Neil ignored him. Hearing this, Leena silently vows to stop Neil from marrying Teju. When Mukta and her children return from the pooja, they face the Chavans’ scolding. Mukta reminds them they had taken permission before leaving, but Satish blames Teju for ignoring his instruction to stay away from Neil. Teju denies speaking to him, and Sonali then adds that Neil’s parents had visited earlier and were displeased to learn he had taken them to the temple. She warns that if the wedding is called off, Mukta will be responsible.
Satish threatens Mukta, declaring that if Juhi’s marriage suffers in any way, he will throw her and her children out of the house. Mukta questions his cruelty, while Teju defends their temple visit, saying they were denied the chance to perform the pooja at home. Lakshmi lashes out at Teju for speaking, and Mukta silences her daughter. She then confronts Satish for failing to stop Lakshmi from barring them earlier, but Satish coldly reminds her that he had warned Lakshmi would never accept them.
Meanwhile, Leena and Vinod rebuke Neil for meddling in their family matters by taking Mukta and her children to the temple. Neil explains that Teju and Vedaant were heartbroken at missing Mohit’s final peace offering, so he only wanted to help them. Leena sharply questions why he cares so much. In reply, Neil boldly declares that he wants to marry Teju, not Juhi. Leena instantly rejects the idea, sneering that Teju has no proper identity and is nothing more than an illegitimate daughter of the family.

Neil vents his frustration to Manjira over his family’s refusal to accept his choice. Meanwhile, Leena warns Vinod that if Teju sets foot in their house, she will leave.
