The episode opens with Vihaan asking Jhanak if she has changed her mind. Jhanak shakes her head and says his family doesn’t like her, but he urges her to come, reminding her that Ahaan needs her presence. He even hints that one day he might leave his house, because Ahaan’s happiness depends on her. Anirudh happens to overhear their exchange. Jhanak softly admits that she has missed Ahaan. Elsewhere, Bipasha questions Laal about whether he went to the basti. Laal denies it, but Bipasha suspects Kaka might have covered for him. Laal admits it’s possible. With a sly smile, Bipasha announces that she has some breaking news to share.

Meanwhile, Dadi expresses her relief that the haldi ceremony went smoothly. She turns to Arshi and asks if she will be attending the wedding. Arshi refuses, saying she doesn’t want to take any unnecessary risks. Dadi admits that while she personally doesn’t like Jhanak, they cannot avoid her presence anymore. At that moment, Bipasha arrives with Laal and declares that Jhimli has run away with the money. She says smugly that Lalon deserves this misfortune and openly admits she’s happy about it. Laal agrees with her. With satisfaction, Bipasha adds that she will visit the temple to thank God for what has happened.
Dadi asks her why she isn’t attending the wedding. Bipasha laughs it off, saying she had completely forgotten, then bitterly prays for misfortune to fall upon Jhanak. Choton enters and she congratulates him, but he immediately scolds her. Laal steps in, questioning why Choton is speaking to his sister that way. Bipasha argues that Choton has no right to talk to her so rudely. Tanuja nudges Dadi to notice how badly they are quarreling. Dadi interrupts, telling Choton to stop arguing and go get ready. Arshi mutters that Choton will never understand her. Choton firmly declares that Jhanak is his responsibility, but Dadi hushes him and sends him away.
As the household begins preparing for the wedding, Choton takes blessings from Shubh. Arshi notices Jhanak dressed and questions her. Jhanak assures her that she will leave soon. Anjana offers to stay behind with Arshi, but Choton intervenes, reminding everyone that even Meenu wants Jhanak to attend the wedding. He adds that Anjana can’t go simply because of Arshi’s stubbornness. Arshi, however, softens for a moment and tells Anjana to attend the wedding, not wanting her to miss it. Anjana then encourages Jhanak to enjoy the celebrations.
Anirudh speaks up, insisting that he will stay with Arshi since she is his responsibility. Choton immediately challenges him, questioning why he is suddenly so concerned. Arshi snaps that she doesn’t need anyone, but Anjana gently points out that she’s only speaking in anger. Arshi then tells everyone to leave for the wedding without her. Bablu reminds them that Arshi is not a child and urges Anjana to get ready. Tanuja volunteers to stay back, but Arshi cuts her off sharply, saying she only needs her maid.
Mimi bristles and demands how Arshi could call her own sister a maid. Arshi rudely orders Mimi to shut up. Mimi fires back that everyone knows Jhanak is her sister. Jhanak quietly tells Choton to go without her, but Choton snaps that if Arshi insists on treating her like a maid, then Jhanak should come with him instead. Shubh warns that if they continue arguing like this, the wedding will be delayed. Dadi adds firmly that Choton won’t have a peaceful marriage if Jhanak isn’t present.
Choton turns to Arshi and sarcastically asks how much she pays Jhanak for her service. Arshi retorts that Jhanak already has a place to stay, and that should be enough. Anirudh steps in, demanding how Arshi can degrade Jhanak by calling her a maid. He once again insists he will remain with Arshi, but Choton reminds her that if she truly needs anything, she can always call Anirudh herself.
Feeling cornered, Arshi lashes out and accuses Choton of deliberately wanting Jhanak and Anirudh to go to the wedding together.
