The episode begins with Ranbir playing music, as “Do Naina Ek Kahani…” plays in the background. Meghla and Ranbir argue lightly about the song, bringing a playful energy to the scene. Diljot chimes in, insisting that Meghla should stay with them. Guru ji reminds her that it is their house, explaining that he has many students whom he teaches music, and they are also part of the home. Diljot responds that she likes Meghla, and Guru ji adds that Meghla is like his daughter and now belongs to her as well. Diljot insists she will keep Meghla with her, but Guru ji says that would be wrong since her father trusted them to bring her home. Eventually, he concedes, saying they will go home first and then decide.

Meanwhile, Param and the others reflect on how much they miss Bua ji, while Simran notes that Adrija will soon join the family. Param observes that Ranbir seems distant from Adrija, agreeing to marry her but still harboring feelings for Meghla. Simran reminds him that he must handle his heart, as his marriage with Adrija will happen regardless. Meghla compliments Ranbir on his singing, and he humbly deflects. She expresses her surprise at Guru ji’s depth, realizing that though she has lived with him for years, she never truly understood his pain. Ranbir acknowledges seeing Diljot in pain since childhood and feels glad to have helped in some way.
Meher suggests hosting a reception party for Diljot and Guru ji. Balveer and Kamal support the idea, while Zoravar argues against it. Dadi defends Diljot, emphasizing that she married a successful, famous artist, and it is fitting to celebrate her love and reunion. Meghla expresses her confidence that Diljot and Guru ji will remain happy. Ranbir silently reflects, thinking that perhaps he was never deserving of Meghla. Everyone, including Dadi, voices agreement that happiness should prevail. Zoravar reluctantly says Ranbir should do whatever makes him happy. Meher asks whether he won’t find joy in Diljot’s happiness, but Ranbir worries about his father feeling disrespected and decides not to get involved.
At Guru ji’s house, he apologizes, explaining that Diljot wants Meghla to stay, and he will take her home in the morning. Ranbir agrees, both feeling uneasy over the situation. Balveer scolds Zoravar while Kamal and Meher attempt to explain things. Ranbir asks to speak with Guru ji privately. Guru ji says they are short on time and asks Ranbir to go first. He explains that Meghla and he are going to a music conference on Ranbir’s wedding day. Ranbir, surprised, smiles and realizes what is happening. Guru ji adds that while Ranbir marries someone else, Meghla will continue to rise in the music world. Ranbir accuses Guru ji of arranging Meghla’s marriage with his favorite student. Guru ji denies it and questions the story. Ranbir grows frustrated, accusing him of insulting him and reminds him that he had confessed love to Meghla and then rejected her, playing with her emotions—a crime in his eyes.
