The episode begins with Renuka insisting that Roshni must strictly observe traditional Pooja rituals, including fasting for three to four consecutive days. She strongly believes that performing these rituals will help secure her father’s release from prison. Renuka further insists that the entire family must accompany her to the temple for prayers. Sayali is asked to inform Sachin so that he, too, can be present. Hearing about the intense fasting rules, Roshni feels anxious and burdened. Still, Sayali calls Sachin and requests that he attend the temple for the mannat. He agrees but tells his passenger to wait in the car while he joins the family.

At the temple, Renuka subjects Roshni to strange and extreme practices. She forces her to bathe with a bucket of cold water before making her do repeated sit-ups as part of the ritual. Sachin soon arrives, leaving his passenger in the car. Watching Roshni endure these bizarre acts, he questions their necessity, which immediately angers Renuka.
The torment continues as Roshni is compelled to hold burning camphor in her palm, followed by more irrational demands. Meanwhile, Isha, waiting in Sachin’s car, suddenly spots Tejas coming out of the temple. Startled, she quickly hides her face to avoid being seen. Sachin, disturbed by his mother’s unreasonable treatment of Roshni, refuses to take part in the ritual and returns to his car. He drives off with Isha, while Tejas misses seeing her altogether.
Back inside the temple, the priest asks Roshni to provide her father’s name. Nervous and struggling to recall the false identity she had previously given, Roshni stumbles over her words. When the priest presses for further details, she becomes visibly embarrassed. He then declares that she must observe strict rituals for the next 48 days, including sleeping on the floor, to fulfill the mannat. Horrified, Roshni is left shaken, unable to understand how she will endure such demands—especially knowing that her so-called father doesn’t even exist.
