The episode opens on a warm and traditional note as Dadi presents a gift to Meenu. Anjana joins her, showering blessings on both Meenu and Choton, wishing them happiness in their new journey together. The family atmosphere feels light for a moment, but it quickly shifts when Jhanak steps into the house. Tanuja wastes no time questioning her whereabouts. Calmly, Jhanak explains that she had gone to the hospital to check on Arshi and had even informed Anjana before leaving. But despite her straightforward explanation, Bipasha and Dadi exchange doubtful looks and accuse her of having hidden motives. Anjana firmly speaks up in Jhanak’s defense, yet her words do little to change the family’s suspicion.

Meanwhile, in another corner of the story, Ketki grows increasingly restless. She paces back and forth, muttering to herself, wondering why Vihaan is taking so long to return. Sejal stirs the fire, suggesting that maybe he has gone to bring Jhanak back with him. Ketki snaps at the idea, brushing it off with irritation. When Vihaan finally arrives with Ahaan by his side, Ketki cannot hold back her frustration and immediately confronts him about the delay. Vihaan, however, chooses not to indulge her anger. Instead, he reminds her that her insecurities always drag their relationship into conflict. The tension rises as he recalls how she reacted in the past—when he first left for Kolkata to study, and later when he fell in love with Avni. Each time, her doubts poisoned their relationship. Ketki refuses to bend or acknowledge her flaws, especially when it comes to Jhanak. But Vihaan reassures her firmly, promising that Jhanak has no place in their lives and never will.
Back at the Bose house, Jhanak faces the family’s accusations head-on. This time, she speaks with raw honesty, revealing that she had donated blood for Arshi when her condition became critical. Her revelation silences the room for a moment. Meenu immediately comes forward to support her, touched by Jhanak’s sacrifice. But Shubh coldly cuts in, forbidding Jhanak from going to the hospital again. His words sting, but Jhanak stands tall. With quiet strength, she asserts her independence and declares that she will leave the house as soon as Arshi gives birth. Shubh, stung by her defiance, sneers that she has nowhere else to go. Anjana, moved by concern, points out that Jhanak hasn’t even eaten since morning, her voice filled with worry. Instead of softening, Bipasha cruelly mocks Jhanak, accusing her of using these moments to win Anirudh’s attention. This time, Jhanak doesn’t hold back. With dignity and firmness, she shuts Bipasha down, making it clear she doesn’t need anyone’s validation.
Just then, Anirudh arrives, his presence immediately changing the atmosphere. He shares the much-awaited news: Arshi’s condition is finally stable. Relief washes over the room. Jhanak, her face lighting up with hope, expresses her wish to go to the hospital. But Anirudh gently tells her that Vinayak and Srishti will be going instead. When she insists, he looks at her with quiet reassurance and says she doesn’t need anyone’s permission—she is Arshi’s sister, and that bond alone gives her the right to be there. His words carry weight. Bipasha, unable to contain her irritation, lashes out, accusing Anirudh and Jhanak of constantly finding excuses to interact. Anirudh immediately shuts her down, his tone sharp and final. He makes it clear that Jhanak is a part of the family and deserves to be treated with respect. His words leave the room in silence, Bipasha seething but unable to respond.
At the hospital, however, a far darker plot unfolds. In the quiet corridors, two nurses whisper to each other in hushed tones. Their plan is sinister—they scheme to swap Arshi’s baby with another patient’s child. They speak with cold calculation, making sure no one suspects them. At that very moment, Jhanak enters and notices their suspicious behavior. She overhears fragments of their conversation, her instincts immediately on edge. Though she doesn’t yet grasp the full plan, doubt creeps into her mind.
Soon after, Arshi’s delivery begins. The family waits anxiously outside as the cries of a newborn echo faintly from inside the ward. But behind those doors, the unthinkable happens—the nurse successfully carries out the baby swap, sealing a secret that could shatter lives if uncovered.
