The episode opens with Sunita waking Jhanak, her voice sharp yet calculated. She casually inquires about Arshi’s family, pretending as though she had never promised to inform them earlier. Jhanak frowns, reminding her that she was the one who had taken responsibility to call. But Sunita smoothly denies it, brushing off the reminder as though no such words had ever been spoken. Without giving Jhanak a chance to argue, she shifts the focus and asks about Arshi’s husband before coldly revealing that Arshi has already delivered the baby. The news comes as a jolt, but the relief fades instantly when Sunita adds that the newborn is in critical condition. Jhanak’s voice trembles with anger and fear as she demands to know why no one from Arshi’s family has been informed yet. Instead of answering, Sunita turns the blame onto her, accusing Jhanak of negligence and responsibility.

Elsewhere in the Basu household, Anjana anxiously asks Bablu if there is any update about Arshi’s condition. Before he can answer, Tanuja walks in and casually demands tea from Anjana, as though nothing serious is happening. Bablu irritably suggests that she make it herself, but Tanuja bristles at the idea, complaining that she is not going to return to the kitchen. Anjana, soft and obliging as always, says it’s alright, she will manage. Just then, Shubh joins them and also asks for tea. Tanuja immediately seizes the chance to grumble, accusing Bablu of taunting her unnecessarily. The conversation spirals into a discussion about family responsibilities. Anjana recalls with quiet emotion how Anirudh treated her like a mother, unlike Laal, who never offered that respect. Bablu supports her, voicing his disappointment in Laal’s behavior. Shubh, looking uncomfortable, tries to brush it off, insisting that all he had asked for was tea. But Bablu doesn’t back down and argues that Anjana should not be made to work like a servant anymore. Taking his side, Shubh firmly tells Anjana to stop doing household chores altogether.
Mrinalini enters at that moment and hears Shubh asking about Choton. Irritated, she retorts that Choton is not the only one entitled to rest, and she defends him, saying he too has every right to step back when needed. Choton himself appears soon after, but Mrinalini reassures him that she can manage things on her own. She volunteers to make tea, but Bipasha cuts her short, saying she will prepare it as per Shubh’s orders — but only for certain people. The air thickens with unspoken tension until Anjana, unwilling to see the family divided further, steps in and says she will prepare tea for everyone. Mrinalini, however, refuses to let things continue in the old way. She announces firmly that from now on, all household responsibilities will be shared equally among the three daughters-in-law, including Bipasha, ensuring no one is unfairly burdened.
Back at the hospital, Jhanak grows restless. She demands to know where Arshi and the baby are. Sunita, with her usual cold detachment, replies that Arshi is still in the operating room. Jhanak warns her gravely that if anything happens to either Arshi or the child, she will have to face severe consequences. Her desperation rises as she insists on seeing them with her own eyes, but Sunita flatly denies her entry and instead orders her to call Arshi’s family. Determined to bring the truth to light, Jhanak takes out her phone and calls Anirudh. She explains everything, her voice breaking as she tells him that Arshi and the baby are both in critical condition. Shocked, Anirudh promises her he will come immediately. Without wasting another second, he informs his family of the situation. The news shakes the house, and everyone rushes to leave for the hospital, except Anjana and Mrinalini, who stay behind.
Meanwhile, far away, Anindo continues to tighten his trap around Jhimli. He asks her to help him in his business dealings. Though hesitant, Jhimli agrees, but unease stirs inside her. Soon, he instructs her to wait in a small waiting room while he meets with a client. Raju escorts her there, and she waits, suspicious and restless. When Anindo returns with the client, he is suddenly interrupted by Raju whispering something urgently in his ear. Anindo immediately changes the plan and tells Jhimli that she has to leave for Delhi at once. She is confused, but before she can argue, two men appear, claiming to be customers. Anindo introduces them to Jhimli and orders her to do whatever they say. But just as dread begins to creep in, the men reveal their true identities — they are police officers. Guns are drawn, and the façade collapses in an instant. Jhimli panics and pleads for help, accusing Anindo of trying to sell her. Desperate, Anindo insists she is his wife, but no one believes him. The officers arrest him on the spot. At that very moment, Lalon, Appu, and Kajol arrive. Jhimli runs into their arms, sobbing and apologizing for everything she has put them through. The family embraces her with tears of relief, their ordeal finally over.
At the hospital, Jhanak continues her search for answers. She asks a nurse about Arshi’s baby, but the nurse replies curtly that the baby is not in the nursery. Suspicion instantly flares within Jhanak. Something is terribly wrong, and all her instincts point toward Sunita. As she turns, she notices a patient’s husband thanking Sunita profusely. The sight unsettles her, and she steps forward to question him. Why is he expressing gratitude to the nurse instead of the doctor? The man explains briefly that Sunita helped them in some matter and then quickly leaves. Jhanak watches him go, unease gnawing at her heart, certain that something is being concealed.

Sunita informs Anirudh that his baby is no more. Jhanak, stunned, says she was never told anything about this. Shrishti steps in, suggesting that Jhanak might have forgotten due to stress.
