The episode begins with Chandan and Mahua in a panic as they hover over Adrija. Mahua, overcome with anger and grief, lashes out at Chandan, blaming him for everything. She cries that by marrying off his adopted daughter, he has destroyed Adrija’s life. Chandan, trying to calm her, insists nothing will happen to their daughter. Before he can say more, a girl runs out in terror and shouts that Adrija has committed suicide. Shock ripples through the family. Meghla freezes for a moment and then rushes inside, her heart pounding.

Arjun immediately says they need to inform Ranbir, believing Adrija has harmed herself only to stop his and Meghla’s marriage. Simran grows worried and urges that they go and see what exactly Adrija has done. Arjun asks Param to quickly call Ranbir. Everyone gathers in Adrija’s room, horrified at the sight before them. Mahua clutches Adrija, wailing that everyone is responsible for this tragedy. She furiously declares she will never forgive anyone, and in her rage, she points her finger at Meghla, accusing her of snatching everything from her sister. Meghla, shaking with tears, begs Chandan to call the doctor. But Mahua screams that it’s already too late—that Adrija is dead.
Guru ji steps forward, urging Mahua to calm herself. He explains they must let the doctor check Adrija before drawing such conclusions. Mahua, however, refuses to listen, hurling more accusations at everyone in the room. Arjun reminds her that they don’t know the full truth yet and pleads that they should get a doctor immediately. Simran also tries to soothe Mahua, assuring her that help is on the way. Chandan asks Meghla for the doctor’s name, and she quickly makes the call. But before she can finish, Mahua snatches the phone and turns on her, asking if she already informed Ranbir’s family about what happened.
At that very moment, Ranbir is at home. He senses something is wrong when Param tells him that Adrija has done this to stop the wedding. Shocked, Ranbir listens as Mahua calls Meher to inform her of Adrija’s supposed suicide. Meher’s face turns pale. She demands Mahua to explain, but Mahua’s voice cracks with grief. Chandan tries to take the phone from her before she says more.
Ranbir rushes downstairs, restless. Meher stops him and tells him what she just heard—Adrija has committed suicide. Kamal, too, is stunned, unable to believe it. Ranbir insists he has to go and see for himself. But Meher blocks him, scolding him harshly and blaming him for everything. She says it is because of him that Adrija has taken such a step. Ranbir, torn and restless, tells her to calm down, but when she refuses, he storms out, determined to be there.
Back at Adrija’s home, Mahua continues shouting at Meghla, her anger unchecked. Suddenly, Chandan raises his voice and orders her to stop. He reveals that he checked Adrija’s pulse—she is alive. Mahua gasps in disbelief before clutching her daughter again, begging her to open her eyes. Relief floods her tears as she cries out that Adrija is still breathing. She pleads with Chandan to call the doctor immediately. Meghla, overwhelmed, breaks down, saying the doctor promised he would come but still hasn’t arrived. Guru ji and Diljot comfort her, while Chandan reassures that the doctor will soon reach. But Mahua refuses to calm down, arguing bitterly, while Chandan warns her not to insult everyone in her grief.

Chandan tenderly consoles Meghla, but Mahua spits bitter taunts at him. Ranbir arrives and anxiously asks about Adrija’s condition. Mahua lashes out, blaming him for everything and demanding he leave. Ranbir, holding back his own pain, says that he will not let the marriage go ahead until Adrija herself agrees—but he cannot marry anyone else, except Meghla.
