Everyone in the house watches Sachin and Sayali as they walk in, and an awkward silence settles. Renuka immediately suspects something happened at Sayali’s place that forced them to come back early, and Sayali worries aloud that people will start asking questions. Sachin’s grandmother notices he isn’t wearing the shirt Shobha gave him and raises an eyebrow; Sayali offers a quick excuse that sounds flimsy, and Renuka doesn’t believe it. Meanwhile Akash and Riya whisper about a surprise they’re planning for the couple’s first anniversary, but Sachin seems uninterested and tries to step out. His father gently insists he stay for the evening, and that small pull makes Sachin pause.

In the kitchen, Roshni nudges Sayali about the morning’s visit and Sayali snaps—she’s tired of everyone poking into her life. The argument follows them upstairs, and what starts as a simmering irritation turns into a loud row about the missing shirt. Riya and Aaji overhear, and Aaji shuts the door on them, refusing to open it until the couple calms down and talks. Locked together, they can’t avoid the conversation any more; forced into a truce, they finally face the hurt, explain themselves, and slowly reach an uneasy peace.
When they emerge, the whole house is suddenly decorated and a little party is already set up. The earlier tension melts into a different kind of warmth as family members cheer and tell them to get ready. Riya fusses over Sayali’s hair and makeup, giving her a quick makeover, while Sachin softens and admits—quietly, almost to himself—that some unexpected turns in life had led him to this moment. He even jokes that if Tejas hadn’t walked away from the wedding, he wouldn’t have had the chance to marry Sayali. Dressed up and smiling, the two of them look at each other with a new calm, and the evening’s celebration begins around them.
