The episode starts with Suraj sitting quietly, completely worn out by the endless emotional battles in his life. The pressure from Mishka, her father’s threats, and the constant tension in the house have finally taken their toll. Tired of fighting a losing battle and feeling cornered from all sides, Suraj makes a heartbreaking decision—he signs the divorce papers.
When Deepa hears that Suraj has given up on their marriage, she is shattered. Her heart breaks, but she chooses dignity over drama. Despite the pain, Deepa holds back her tears and signs the divorce papers too, sacrificing her marriage silently. As she signs the papers, memories of her conflicts with Suraj flash through her mind—every misunderstanding, every painful word, and every moment that could have been different. Her eyes fill with tears as she realizes that her love story has come to an end, not because it failed, but because it was broken by lies and manipulation.
With heavy hearts, Deepa, her daughters Sona and Rupa, and her close companions Urmi and Joy leave the Sengupta house. The family that once celebrated every festival together is now separated. The once warm and joyful home feels empty and cold.
Later, Suraj notices their absence and asks where everyone has gone. Just as his father is about to reveal the truth, Mishka cleverly jumps in and distracts him. She fakes concern for the baby and tells Suraj to accompany her to the hospital for a check-up. Suraj, unaware of her deeper motives, agrees and leaves with the child.
At the hospital, Mishka bribes the doctor and instructs him to keep Suraj on duty for the next two days. Her goal is clear—keep him away from Deepa and their daughters on a very special day: the twins’ birthday.
Meanwhile, Deepa, Sona, and Rupa wait at their new home, hoping Suraj will come. The girls are excited, hoping their father hasn’t forgotten their birthday, while Deepa tries to stay strong. As time passes, her hope begins to fade. She tells herself not to expect too much, but deep down, a small part of her still believes Suraj might come.
Just when it seems all hope is lost, there’s a knock at the door. Deepa opens it slowly—and to her surprise, it’s Prabir, her father-in-law. With a warm smile and kind eyes, he enters and begins singing a birthday song for Rupa and Sona. The children light up with joy, and Deepa feels a wave of emotion wash over her. At least someone from the Sengupta family still cares.
Back at the hospital, Suraj begins to see through Mishka’s schemes. When she touches him, he snaps. He lashes out, telling her not to touch him and demanding to know what her next plan is. His voice is filled with anger and disgust as he begs her to stop using the baby as a tool to control him. Suraj is finally breaking free from the emotional trap Mishka has created.
In her mind, Mishka tells herself proudly, “I have separated you and Deepa. But I know I still haven’t removed her from your heart.” Her victory feels incomplete, and that burns her even more.
Elsewhere, little Shona confides in Rupa with innocent honesty. She says softly that she misses her father and wishes he were there with them. Her words carry the quiet sadness of a child who doesn’t understand the complexity of adults but only knows the warmth of a father’s hug is missing.
As the episode ends, the pain of separation still lingers, but Deepa and her daughters find comfort in each other and in the love of those who still stand by them. And even as Mishka continues to manipulate, Suraj is beginning to open his eyes—realizing that the woman he truly loves is no longer under the same roof, but never left his heart.
