The episode begins with the police arriving and arresting Pradyuman. Arjun tells him that the law will now punish him. Pradyuman gets angry and says that Arjun has betrayed him, and threatens not to spare him. Kashvi confidently tells Pradyuman that he cannot harm her. Pradyuman then shows a pendrive and says he still can, revealing that the boy is a murderer. He asks the inspector to check the pendrive. Arjun tries to stop him, but the inspector watches the footage, seeing Karun pulling the lever that led to Mohan’s death. Kashvi explains that it was just an accident and Karun didn’t do it intentionally. However, the inspector says that someone has died and so they must take action. Despite Meera saying it was her fiancé who died and she hasn’t filed a complaint, the inspector insists that a death is enough for action. Karun gets arrested while Arjun stands in shock. Kashvi tells Arjun they need to go to the police station.
At the police station, the inspector tells Kashvi that as a civil service officer, she should understand they work based on evidence, not emotions, and it’s clear that Karun pulled the lever. Kashvi begs him not to send Karun to jail, explaining how scared he is. The inspector replies that the juvenile home officers have been called to decide the next step. Karun cries and begs Kashvi to save him as she always does. Kashvi hugs him tightly. Meera assures Karun that his parents will protect him.
Later, the juvenile officers watch the footage. Arjun explains that Karun never meant any harm and only wanted to help. However, the officer says they must question him and let the judge decide. Another officer mentions that the case will be fast-tracked and decided within two days. Karun begs Kashvi to protect him. Kashvi promises him that nothing will happen and Arjun supports her, saying they’ll hire the best lawyer to save Karun.
Two days later, Arjun tells their lawyer he has shared all the details. Kashvi, emotional, says nothing bad must happen to Karun. The lawyer assures them he’ll try his best. Karun hugs Kashvi, and she encourages him to stay strong, promising they’ll soon go home together. Arjun reassures Karun too. As they head to court, Kashvi notices Meera hasn’t arrived yet, and Arjun says she isn’t answering calls.
In court, the lawyer arguing against Karun claims that Karun pulled the lever intentionally, leading to Mohan’s death. Arjun’s lawyer defends Karun, insisting it was an accident and that he’s just a child. The opposing lawyer argues that kids nowadays learn bad behavior from the internet and social media, and presents evidence of Karun’s mischief in school. He even calls the Principal to the witness box, where she admits that although Karun was mischievous, he had improved recently. Another teacher mentions that Karun once burst crackers in class and made her video. The Judge, after hearing all this, decides it’s necessary for Karun to stay in juvenile custody. Kashvi, Arjun, and Karun are left stunned.
Just then, Arjun’s lawyer requests the judge to listen to another witness. Meera enters the witness box and swears to tell the truth. She reveals that Karun pulling the lever didn’t cause Mohan’s death. She explains that during her wedding, the generator wasn’t working and she had rerouted the electricity. Mohan died because of a short circuit, not because of Karun’s actions. She says Karun pulled the lever just to bring back the lights, not to hurt anyone. Karun adds that he only wanted to help as it was very dark. Meera clarifies that she had never blamed Karun for Mohan’s death and had refused to file a case against him.
After hearing this, the Judge dismisses the case and frees Karun. Overjoyed, Karun runs to hug Kashvi and Arjun. Meera kisses Karun on the cheek. Kashvi and Arjun thank Meera deeply. Meera says there is no need to thank her because Karun is her son too. Kashvi tries to leave, but Meera stops her, saying that she herself will go instead. She hands divorce papers to Arjun and tells him she has already signed them and wants him to sign too. Arjun hesitates, but Meera insists, saying she will move to Delhi and raise her baby alone to prove her independence. She encourages Arjun and Kashvi to stay together, saying they are meant for each other and that their love should succeed. Kashvi hugs Meera emotionally. Meera bids goodbye to Karun and leaves.
Six months later, in New Delhi, Meera is seen cutting a cake while holding her baby. She looks at Mohan’s photo and talks to him, saying that their son has completed two months and promises to raise him to be a good man like Mohan. Vikram arrives and informs Meera that Arjun called to say Kashvi has gone into labor and their baby could be born anytime.
In the hospital, Arjun supports Kashvi through her labor. With encouragement from the doctor, Kashvi successfully gives birth to a baby girl. The doctor congratulates them and says the baby is healthy. Arjun holds his newborn daughter emotionally.
Later, Karun comes in and tells Kashvi he wanted to come earlier but wasn’t allowed. He excitedly asks about his little sister. Kashvi hugs him lovingly and says she’ll bring the baby soon. Arjun brings the baby girl to Karun. Karun asks what her name is, and Arjun says her name is Chahat. Kashvi explains that Chahat represents their love and victory over all hardships. Arjun adds that whether they live or not, their next generations should always remember what true love looks like. Kashvi says that Chahatein never truly ends. Arjun kisses Kashvi on the forehead. They all pose happily for a family picture with Karun and Chahat.
The show ends on a beautiful, happy note with Arjun and Kashvi united with their children.
