Ganesh breaks down mentally in front of everyone and starts acting out a court scene. The people around start laughing at him. Suddenly, he picks up a belt and tries to hang himself. Anjali is heartbroken to see him like that and rushes to calm him. One of Yuvraj’s friends sees the entire incident and quickly tells Yuvraj. Yuvraj feels pleased and says that lawyer Anjali Awasthi has entered a dangerous zone, like putting her hand in a snake’s den, and now she will have to face the consequences.
Anjali takes Ganesh home. She’s shocked to see her scooter parked outside her house. She asks her friends if they didn’t sell it. They tell her that Aman stepped in and gave them money so the scooter wouldn’t be sold. Just then, Aman arrives with Diwali gifts for Anjali and wishes her. Anjali becomes emotional and tears up at his kind gesture. Aman lifts her spirits and leaves.
Anjali sits and cries again, thinking about Ganesh’s state and remembering how the Rajputs insulted Sapna. Meanwhile, at the police station, Inspector Pankaj is punishing a thief. He calls Anjali and questions her about stepping away from Padma’s case. He also asks if it’s true she threw Padma out of her home. Anjali tells him Padma is still staying with her. She then explains how Ginni and her in-laws insulted her mother, who carried her in her womb for over nine months, by throwing ₹15,000 at her and telling her to become their maid. Pankaj is stunned by this.
Anjali goes on to share how her father was embarrassed in public by Chandrabhan and Yuvraj, who made him act like a god. Pankaj asks if she has any proof. Anjali says the whole neighborhood and her mother witnessed it, but they’re scared to testify. She turns to Ganesh and asks him to name those who humiliated her, but he breaks down again and can’t speak. Anjali tells Pankaj that though she doesn’t have proof, she’s determined to protect her father. Padma comes in with food from a community feast and offers it to Anjali.

Anjali reaches the court and finds her chair and typewriter missing. Bhajan says they sold them off. Raghav informs her that she’s been kicked out of the court premises. Anjali wonders how she’ll manage to earn a living now. Yuvraj taunts her by handing her a bowl and telling her to start begging.
