Inspector Pankaj’s subordinate, Vidyut Kashyap, is seen beating up the car driver who caused Ganesh’s accident. Instead of filing a case, he lets the driver go with just a warning. Pankaj walks in just in time and confronts Vidyut for releasing the culprit without taking any legal action. Vidyut tries to defend himself, claiming Pankaj is insulting him, but Pankaj presses on, asking if he even bothered to check whose car the driver was using. When Vidyut says no, Pankaj reveals that the vehicle belongs to an unnamed company linked to Chandrabhan Thakur and asserts that it was a planned attempt to murder, which Anjali can easily prove in court. Vidyut smugly replies that Anjali won’t be fighting the case since she’s now working as Raghav’s assistant.
Pankaj continues grilling Vidyut, this time accusing him of tampering with the general diary by falsely entering a statement on behalf of Yuvraj, dated August 9, while Vidyut was actually attending a wedding. Vidyut gets visibly nervous. Pankaj immediately calls Anjali to inform her that the driver involved in Ganesh’s accident has been caught and that the car belongs to Chandrabhan. Anjali confirms it’s a clear attempt to murder and quotes the relevant legal sections. Encouraged, Pankaj praises her fire and urges her to take on the case. Meanwhile, he catches Vidyut trying to secretly message Yuvraj. Vidyut deletes the message and smugly walks away, saying Pankaj has no proof against him.
Elsewhere, Raghav notices Yuvraj is anxious about Padma’s upcoming court hearing, especially with Anjali possibly taking action against them. Yuvraj expresses his fears, but Raghav reassures him that Anjali is indebted to him and will only show up in court as his junior if needed.
Nandini also voices her concerns, but Raghav confidently states that everything is under control—both legally and otherwise. He minimizes Anjali’s role, dismissing her as insignificant. Nandini tries to calm Yuvraj, who reluctantly agrees to stay composed.
Later, Yuvraj calls Anjali to taunt her, comparing her to an injured lion and implying that her loyalty to Raghav will stop her from fighting back. But Anjali stands her ground and promises to teach him a lesson when the time comes. Sapna, noticing the tension, asks Anjali about the call. Anjali tells her it was Yuvraj, and Sapna advises her to steer clear of him. Anjali dismisses the warning. Just then, Padma arrives to inform Anjali that reporters are questioning her credibility, with rumors suggesting she’s sold out like her father. Unfazed, Anjali says she’s more concerned about her father’s dignity than public gossip. Watching from a distance, Ramesh grows emotional hearing her defend him.
