Aman gets down on one knee and proposes to Anjali with a ring. Just as she’s about to respond, his phone rings. It’s Abhay, who angrily scolds Aman for bringing shame to the family and tells him to come back immediately for his engagement. Aman refuses and calmly says he has already proposed to the woman he truly loves. When Abhay demands to know who the woman is, Aman gives the phone to Anjali. Abhay shouts at her, blaming her for destroying their family’s reputation and begs her not to ruin the life of the girl waiting to marry Aman. Anjali gets upset and questions Aman about involving her in the call. She criticizes his actions.
Soon after, Raghav calls Aman and tells him firmly that he will only marry Kavya and no one else. He tells Aman to make it clear to his girlfriend that she’s not accepted by their family. Raghav insists that Kavya will always have a place in their home. At the same time, Chandrabhan sends his men to create chaos in Anjali’s neighborhood so that she and Padma can’t reach the court.
Feeling hurt, Anjali removes the ring and gives it back to Aman. She accuses him of playing with her emotions. Aman tries to explain that he truly loves her and not Kavya. Anjali reminds him that his family doesn’t care about his feelings. Aman insists he has told them many times that he doesn’t love Kavya, only her. Furious, Anjali slaps him and shuts the door. As Aman walks away, he says he knows she loves him too, even if she won’t say it.
Meanwhile, Ginni confronts Abhay and asks why he’s not saying anything. Abhay, angry, blames her for helping Yuvraj kidnap Padma and for embarrassing the family during the engagement. Ginni cries and says she only did everything to win his love and acceptance. She pleads with him to accept her, but Abhay coldly says that even if she loves him, his heart only belongs to her sister, Anjali. He mocks Ginni and asks her to describe Anjali’s looks, which humiliates her. When she tells him to stop, he insults her again and walks away.
The next day, a girl visits Ganesh’s house with an engagement invitation. Ganesh is shocked to see that it’s for Raghav’s son and Chandrabhan Thakur’s daughter. He remembers that the young man who visits Anjali is also named Aman. Concerned, he tries to talk to Sapna about it. But Sapna says it’s just a coincidence and tells him to stop worrying.
Anjali gets ready to take Padma to the police to make sure Yuvraj is punished. Ganesh tries to tell her about his doubts regarding Aman, but Anjali doesn’t listen and leaves. To stop Ganesh from getting more worried, Sapna burns the engagement card and asks him to forget about it.
