The episode opens with Anjali making a pointed remark to Yuvraj about a bride traditionally wearing a lehenga gifted by either her in-laws or her own family during the wedding ceremony. She subtly questions the origin of the one she’s been given. Yuvraj calmly responds that she should wear it some other time, reminding her that their family never takes back a gift once given. Anjali turns to Raghav, expressing disbelief that he would sit and share coffee with someone like Yuvraj, whom she calls a criminal. Nandini steps in, asking Anjali to stop labeling Yuvraj that way. She admits that Yuvraj made a mistake with Padma while under the influence, but adds that Padma had also tormented him afterward. Nandini insists that Anjali stop harassing Yuvraj over it.

But Anjali remains firm, stating that she won’t rest until she sees Yuvraj behind bars. Yuvraj counters her with confidence, saying he will never end up in jail. Raghav joins in and challenges Anjali back, claiming she won’t be able to prove her case. Anjali snaps at him too before walking away. Nandini expresses her frustration to Raghav, saying that despite everything, Anjali still believes she can win the case. Bhajan tries to calm her down, assuring her that Raghav will handle everything from here. Meanwhile, Pankaj calls Anjali to warn her that Bhajan has been seen meeting secretly with Yuvraj and Chandraman. He says it’s suspicious, especially since there’s no real chance left for Yuvraj to escape jail time. He suspects that they’re planning something. Anjali listens carefully and agrees that something doesn’t feel right.
Later, Pankaj brings up Anjali’s upcoming marriage and asks if she’s truly going to marry Aman. Anjali admits she doesn’t know what to do. She feels trapped—if she walks away, she’ll ruin one relationship, but if she goes ahead with the marriage, she’ll destroy another. Pankaj concludes from her words that she has made up her mind to marry Aman. Anjali goes on to explain how she ended up caught in the middle of all this, overwhelmed by the weight of responsibilities and expectations. She says she’s only going through with the wedding to protect her sister’s marriage. With that, she ends the call, heavy with the burden of her decision. Gini walks in and cheerfully tells Anjali that they still have to celebrate all the pre-wedding rituals—like the Mehendi, Haldi, and others. Anjali, however, firmly refuses, saying she can’t take part in any of it.
In a different scene, Nandini gifts a necklace to Kavya, calling it a token of good wishes—or shagun—from the family. She comforts Kavya and says the entire Rajput family regrets what happened to her. Nandini vows to make it up to her by ensuring that she marries Aman. Rati is shocked and asks Nandini how she can be so sure. Nandini says with full confidence that Anjali won’t sit in the mandap and even mocks how she’s been treating Aman. Then she boldly tells Rati to arrive at the wedding with a band, as if it’s a celebration already locked in. Nandini walks away, confident in her assumptions.
Back in her room, Gini begins emotionally pleading with Anjali, using tearful blackmail to sway her. Anjali tries to resist, but Gini’s emotional manipulation proves too strong. Finally, worn down and moved by her sister’s desperate pleas, Anjali reluctantly agrees to go through with the marriage.
