The episode opens with Hasmuk deep in thought, troubled by Rudra’s sudden return after so many years. Paritosh, however, is more suspicious than concerned—he suspects that Gautam may have been the one to call Rahi’s father. Meanwhile, Anupama approaches Rahi with an apologetic heart. She tells her she’s sorry for not talking about Maya and her father earlier, explaining that she never meant to cause any misunderstanding. But Rahi gently puts her at ease, saying that to her, Anuj and Anupama will always be her parents, no one else.

At the Shah house, Leela stirs the pot, insisting that Prem should have married Rahi during the haldi ceremony itself. She warns that the Kotharis will never let the wedding happen. Rahi, however, refuses to bow to anyone’s judgment. She tells everyone that she truly loves Prem, but she won’t marry him without his family’s approval. Prem, on the other hand, isn’t willing to wait—he urges her to meet him at the temple right away. At the temple, Prem takes matters into his own hands and proposes to Rahi, promising that he will convince his family later. But while they’re away, Parag, Vasundhara, Khyati, and Gautam confront Anupama, accusing her of secretly supporting the marriage. Parag breaks the news that Prem and Rahi are planning to wed that very moment and blames Anupama for the situation. The Shah family is left stunned when Vasundhara threatens to end her life if the wedding happens without their consent.
Back at the temple, Prem grows impatient when Rahi takes her time choosing a bridal dress. His frustration spills over—he urges her to trust him and marry immediately, but Rahi stands her ground, insisting that she needs her family’s blessing. Their disagreement quickly turns into a bitter argument. Prem accuses her of caring more about becoming the Kotharis’ daughter-in-law than about being his wife. Hurt and angry, he ends the relationship on the spot.
As fate would have it, both families arrive and witness the painful breakup. Prem refuses to return to the Kothari home, walking away without looking back. Anupama speaks up in her own defense, firmly denying any role in encouraging the marriage. She stands by her principles and urges the Kotharis to think about the pain their son is in. Meanwhile, Ansh, Pari, and Ishani are anxious about what’s happening to Rahi and Prem, but Mahi lashes out, blaming them for destroying her own love story. The tension rises, but Ansh and Pari refuse to argue further, choosing instead to focus on helping Rahi and Prem.
Rahi, shattered by the breakup, feels as though she’s lost everything—her love and her family. Anupama sits with her, urging her to see things from Prem’s perspective. Rahi listens, but her heart aches with the feeling of abandonment. Elsewhere, Anil and Khyati approach Baa, trying to convince her to accept the couple’s relationship. Later, Rahi is stunned to walk in and find the Shah family busy with preparations for her wedding.

Anupama tells Rahi that the Kotharis won’t change overnight, but she must keep trying to win them over. At the same time, Prem tells Baa that Rahi’s happiness is all that matters to him—yet Baa insists she won’t allow Rahi to become “too independent.”
