The episode opens with Prem sitting quietly before his mother’s photograph, speaking to her as if she were right there. His voice carries both excitement and relief—he’s finally marrying Rahi. He remembers the emptiness he once felt and how Rahi’s presence has filled that void, giving him a reason to dream again. Moti Baa watches him closely, her eyes shadowed with worry. She questions whether he’s truly thought through this decision and asks him to reconsider. But Prem is firm. He tells her that Rahi means as much to him as he does to her. She may not be perfect, but he believes her warmth will win over every heart in the family. He speaks of how Rahi has brought joy and light back into his life. Moti Baa nods, but behind her polite expression lies disapproval—not just for Rahi, but also for Anupama. In her mind, she’s already planning to keep Rahi under the same control Khyati and Meeta have over their households.

Elsewhere, Ansh and Pari are busy decorating Rahi’s wedding palanquin, while Ishani stands by, admiring their work. A bittersweet feeling hangs in the air—they know Rahi will soon leave the house. Rahi notices their sadness and gently urges them to smile instead. The Shah family joins in, lifting her spirits with cheerful dancing. Still, Anupama’s heart aches silently at the thought of Rahi leaving, knowing she’ll feel the emptiness again once the celebrations are over. Meanwhile, Khyati quietly tells Parag that she’s already making arrangements for her son’s wedding. Parag, however, cannot shake his unease about Rahi. Khyati tries to reassure him, reminding him that Prem has chosen her, but Parag admits he’ll be relieved only once the marriage is over. While he agrees to celebrate the occasion, he secretly resolves to limit Anupama’s role in their lives afterward, fearing she might influence Rahi and Prem in ways he doesn’t approve of.
Later, Prem calls Rahi for a private meeting, and she slips away, telling Anupama a small lie about where she’s going. But Anupama senses something is off and grows restless, eventually heading out to find her. On the road, Prem’s heart nearly stops when he sees a truck speeding by and fears it has hit Rahi. In a panic, he searches until he finds her, shaken but unharmed. He pulls her close, calming her trembling hands.
Back at home, Paritosh speculates that Rahi might be getting cold feet about the wedding. Leela sternly recalls warning her not to go out after the Haldi ceremony. Prem blames himself for calling her, but Rahi urges him not to tell the family about what happened.
When Anupama finally learns the truth—that they had arranged to meet in secret—her anger boils over. She scolds both Prem and Rahi for their recklessness, her words sharp with both fear and disappointment.
Later that night, Parag sits down with Moti Baa to discuss the future of his business empire. To his surprise, Moti Baa suggests involving Rahi in the work—not for Rahi’s sake, but to support Prem. The idea catches him off guard, and he silently wonders what her true intentions might be.
