The episode begins with Rahi blushing as Prem playfully gets romantic and slips a ring onto her finger. She feels guilty for not having a gift for him, but to show her affection, she kisses his hand. Prem teases her, saying the ring might not last since it could come off while washing hands. Meanwhile, Mahi watches them from a distance, and her feelings for Rahi become more complicated. She fantasizes about telling Rahi that she loves her, and in her imagination, Prem coldly says he wouldn’t care even if Mahi died. Before she can dwell further, she snaps out of it when Pari calls Prem away. Elsewhere, Meeta tells Anupama that Parag has chosen a ring for Rahi. Parag and Moti Baa bring a diamond and ask Anupama to pick a ring for Prem. Anupama considers using Anuj’s old ring but eventually agrees to select a new one. Later, Rahi arrives at the Kothari house where Moti Baa warmly compliments her, but Mahi, who’s still jealous, grows more bitter seeing Rahi and Prem together. At the same time, Raja flirts with Ishani and asks for a kiss, only for Leela to walk in and ruin the moment. Meanwhile, Ansh notices a strange mark on Prathna’s hand, but she brushes it off with a lie.

Anupama welcomes the Kotharis for lunch and surprises them with an elaborate spread. Moti Baa initially says that Khyati and Meeta will eat later, but Anupama insists they all eat together as per tradition. When Prem offers to help serve food, Anupama tells him to sit and enjoy the meal. The guests are impressed by the hospitality, but Mahi takes a sly jab at Rahi, pointing out that she can’t cook—a dig that catches Rahi, Prem, and Anupama off guard.
Later, feeling ignored by Prem, Rahi secretly sends him a message, but it accidentally ends up with Parag, who finds a chit in his food. Rahi panics, thinking he’ll be angry, but to everyone’s shock, Parag simply laughs. Pari watches him, surprised to see that he even knows how to laugh. Rahi, determined to redeem herself, decides to win the family over by cooking. With Anupama’s help, she prepares a sweet dish. However, things go wrong when Moti Baa complains that the dish tastes salty. The Shahs try to calm her down, but Mahi, who had quietly switched the sugar with salt, savors Rahi’s humiliation.
Anupama begins to suspect foul play with the swapped bottles. Meanwhile, Radha accidentally records Mahi’s act on video, catching her red-handed. When Mahi is confronted, she emotionally lashes out, blaming Rahi for stealing Prem from her. Anupama sternly warns her to stay in control, while Vasundhara, overhearing the confrontation, begins to see the truth. Moti Baa also starts doubting Mahi’s innocence.

Parag tells the Shahs that due to an incident at the Kothari mansion, his family will be staying at a hotel for a while. The Shahs insist they move in with them instead. Everyone ends up enjoying a fun cricket match together.
