Anupama On Starlife Monday 16th June 2025 Written Episode Update
Mahi calls Kavya, but Kavya doesn’t answer. Anupama tries to calm Mahi, telling her not to worry since Kavya must be busy and will call back after seeing the missed call. Mahi insists that a mother should always pick her child’s call and jokes that maybe Kavya is busy getting a beauty treatment to hide her age. Anupama gently scolds her for saying such things about her mother. Mahi complains that Anupama is scolding her more these days. Anupama points out that Mahi is also losing patience, but reassures her that Kavya will call. Mahi says she wants to share some news about her engagement.

Anupama asks if she should call her “Anu Maa” or “Mummy,” and Mahi says she was thinking about it but only if Rahi hadn’t been found. When Anupama asks if she’s not her mother now that Rahi is back, Mahi happily calls her “Anu Maa” and hugs her warmly. Anupama promises to talk to Kavya and tells Mahi not to worry. Mahi excitedly mentions she wants to go engagement shopping. Anupama tells her to take her debit card but warns her not to overspend. Mahi says she wants to buy something for everyone, and Anupama encourages her to go, reminding her that Prem is waiting and saying she has become the mother of another child now.
Mahi and Prem arrive at a wedding boutique. The manager asks if they want to do twinning outfits. Prem agrees, and Mahi happily says yes. The salesgirl goes to get the collection. Mahi mentions that Ansh, Pari, and Rahi went shopping together, and Prem thinks that Rahi might be avoiding him, which is why she went separately. Mahi thinks it’s good that Rahi didn’t come with them. Suddenly, Prem spots Rahi inside the same shop, trying on an orange dress. Surprised, he watches as Rahi notices him, and they exchange glances. Mahi shows Prem a dress and is surprised to see Rahi there. When asked, Rahi says she came because she saw a nice collection on display and wants to try the dress on. Mahi tells her she doesn’t want it anymore. Meanwhile, Anupama talks with Janki behen about customers paying money. Janki reassures her that everything will be fine and wonders why Anupama wants to spend so much when Prem’s family isn’t present. Anupama says she wants Mahi’s wedding to be grand because Mahi never asked for anything except Prem. Suddenly, Anupama gets a message from Kavya and looks shocked.
Mahi feels upset that Rahi showed up and wonders why Rahi always comes between them. She thinks Rahi can try on dresses, but Prem will always be hers. Rahi accidentally falls, and Prem catches her, causing them to tumble onto some clothes. A song plays as Mahi tries on a dress. Prem and Rahi get up, and the salesgirls comment on what a perfect pair they make, asking if they are getting married. Rahi quickly clarifies that Prem is marrying her sister, and the salesgirls apologize. Prem smiles and says no need to apologize—they’re a perfect pair too. Mahi shows her dress to Prem, who compliments the color and says he’ll wear white to match since orange and white look good together. Mahi agrees.
Anupama shares with Janki behen that Kavya said she can’t attend the wedding because she’s busy. Anupama worries Mahi will feel bad. Janki tells her there’s no comparison between her and Kavya—Anupama is the one truly caring for her like a mother. Anupama says she shares a bond of love with Mahi, who gave her love when Rahi wasn’t around, and promises to give Mahi away at the wedding as her mother. Janki praises her for doing so much for Kavya and Mahi despite their difficult family past. Anupama vows never to punish Mahi for others’ mistakes and promises to give her all the happiness in the world. She takes a call and steps aside. Janki behen remembers Rahi’s words and wonders if she should tell Anupama about Rahi and Prem’s feelings for each other. She struggles with breaking her promise or hurting three lives.
Rahi asks the staff to do the billing and says she’ll bring something for Anupama. Prem notices Rahi’s limping and asks what happened to her foot. Mahi asks too, and Rahi says she has a slight sprain. Prem offers to go with her. Mahi watches Prem closely and tells Rahi that she knows Prem is her brother-in-law and she will keep her distance, but she also wants to be his best friend and doesn’t want their friendship to come between them. She points out that even Ansh can have misunderstandings, so it’s natural for others too.
Anupama meets a woman at a restaurant who says it’s her first kitty party, joined at her daughter-in-law’s suggestion. Anupama agrees it’s good, saying a woman feels lonely when her children have their own families. The woman offers to finalize the menu with her wife and offers to drop Anupama home, but Anupama says she’ll stay a while and look over the menu.
Meanwhile, Prem notices that Rahi seems upset after her talk with Mahi. A goon spots Prem and Rahi and greets them. He claims Prem stole his wallet and phone and says Prem and “Bhabhi” beat him up. He calls Prem lucky to have such a loving girl and leaves. Mahi gets angry, steps down, and questions Prem about why he called Rahi “Bhabhi.” Prem asks her to sit in the jeep. Rahi explains that she fought those goons because they had beaten Prem, just like she fought for Ansh before, and asks Mahi not to let such things ruin her mood. Mahi walks away upset. Rahi tries to follow, but Prem holds her hand, asking why she fought the goons. Rahi tells him to let go and walks after Mahi. Prem feels that something isn’t right.
Anupama spots Prarthana at a restaurant. She accidentally drops a photo of Prem and herself and picks it up as she approaches Prarthana.

Jigna tells Anupama that a girl has come to meet her. Anupama sees Prarthana and invites her to Prem’s engagement. Prarthana congratulates Prem. Just then, Baa calls Anupama away. Prem asks Prarthana why she’s there, and she asks if he’s getting engaged without telling them. Prem says he has to. Prarthana pleads with him not to do it. Rahi applies mehendi to Mahi, saying Prem’s name is on her hand too. Suddenly, Prem slips and falls on Mahi’s chair, causing Mahi to fall on Rahi, and the mehendi transfers to Rahi’s hand. All three are shocked.
