Rahi sings Pehla Nasha, caught up in her feelings and softly admitting to herself that she’s in love. Anupama walks in and asks why she’s still awake. Rahi replies that she just couldn’t sleep. Anupama tells her that her back is aching and jokes about using the rolling pin to ease the pain. Rahi quickly jumps in to help, rolling it gently across her back and saying she worked too hard in the kitchen today. Anupama agrees and then brings up something that’s clearly been on her mind. She mentions that Prem is back and asks Rahi if she knew. She says she finds him nice, but there’s always a look in his eyes—a kind of sorrow he tries to hide. She says she’s been thinking about him a lot and asks Rahi what she thinks of him. The rolling pin slips from Rahi’s hands and falls to the floor.
Anupama tells her to be careful and gently insists on an answer. Rahi hesitates, then says that at first she didn’t like him, but as she’s gotten to know him, she realizes he’s actually a good person. She almost says more but holds back. Anupama continues, saying she’s been considering something important: what if Prem becomes part of the family, what if he becomes their son-in-law? She says before making such a big decision, she needs to speak to him—to understand his thoughts and intentions. She adds that Mahi is deeply in love with him and stubborn about marrying him. Anupama says she can’t just give Mahi’s hand to someone without knowing where he stands. Her voice grows emotional as she talks about Mahi’s childhood—how she never had a father and then lost her mother. She was raised clinging to Anupama’s pallu, always close to her. Anupama says she never even scolded her for not doing well in school, because she just couldn’t bring herself to be harsh with her. She wonders aloud if she should talk to Prem about Mahi, and admits she’s terrified of Mahi getting hurt, because if she does, she won’t recover from it.
Rahi’s eyes fill with tears as she listens, stunned and silent. Anupama apologizes for rambling, explaining that she can’t share these thoughts with Pakhi and that she talks to Rahi because she feels a connection with her. She tells Rahi that since she and Prem are close—sometimes bickering like friends, other times understanding each other well—she trusts her judgment.
She asks if Prem is someone who can truly fill the emptiness in Mahi’s heart. Rahi quietly leans forward and hugs her, her tears falling onto Anupama’s hand. Anupama quickly asks what’s wrong, urging her to speak. Rahi tries to hide her heartbreak and says these are tears of happiness, that someone is getting the love they deserve. She adds that everything in life is destined and based on karma. She speaks vaguely about someone once not valuing love when they had it, and how such a person has no right to want love again.
Anupama grows confused by her words, but Rahi continues, saying this is just how life is now. She silently blames herself for making Anupama cry all those years ago, and says that while Kanha ji gave her a mother, maybe she’s just not meant to have Prem. She compares Prem to Lord Krishna—divine and full of love—and says that whoever gets him will be Radha. She, on the other hand, will be Meera—loving him silently and from a distance, accepting that he’ll never be hers.
Anupama thanks her and embraces her. She confides that her fear for Mahi is intense—maybe even more than a normal mother’s fear. She remembers how, when Rahi wasn’t around, Mahi would hold onto her tightly for comfort. She says Mahi got a mother but never had one completely, because her own heart was always mourning Rahi. She believes Mahi has never had anything fully—neither love nor attention. Rahi assures her that Mahi will get her love now. She reminds Anupama of the day she asked which daughter she would choose, and Anupama chose Mahi. Rahi says she now understands that choice. Anupama says it wasn’t just fear that made her pick Mahi—it was love. She says she wants both her daughters and can’t choose anymore. Rahi replies that she’ll do the right thing and choose to be a good daughter this time. She says she’ll talk to Prem. Anupama worries he might refuse, but Rahi assures her that he won’t say no to her. Anupama gently tells her not to cry. Rahi, trying to lighten the mood, jokes that if they keep crying, they’ll get dehydrated, and she goes to get water.
Just as she’s leaving, Anupama calls out to ask what it was that Rahi had originally wanted to talk to her about. Caught off guard, Rahi lies and says it was about Radha’s school. On her way out, she notices Mahi eating chocolate, looking upset. She quietly walks outside, and once alone, she breaks down, sobbing as she eats a piece of chocolate to soothe herself. Through her tears, she whispers that she loves Prem—loves him deeply—but can’t bring herself to tell anyone, not Anupama, not Mahi, and not even him. She resolves not to say it at all.
Meanwhile, Prem stumbles out in the dark and sees his phone. He notices the unread voice message from Rahi but just as he’s about to play it, the phone dies. He fumbles to charge it, but the electricity goes out. Back in the house, Rahi tells herself that she must delete the message. When the power returns and the phone charges, she checks and confirms that the message hasn’t been heard. Relieved, she deletes it. Prem wakes up and notices that the message is gone. He stares at the screen, wondering what she could have said that made her erase it. He falls asleep sitting there, confused and restless. Rahi watches him silently, her heart aching. She wonders how she can ever erase her feelings. In his sleep, Prem murmurs that he loves her. He says he knows she loves him too—he’s seen it in her eyes. He pleads with her to just say it.
Rahi hears him and tears up again. She thinks about how every first love ends in heartbreak, how even Krishna and Radha never ended up together. She wonders who she is to expect her first love to last. She apologizes to Prem for what she’s about to do—suggesting she’s going to give him up for the sake of others.
The next morning, Prem dresses up and tells himself to stay strong, to ignore the pain. He’s still thinking about the deleted voice note, curious and unsettled by what she might have said.

Prem tells Rahi he used to believe she didn’t love him, but Kanha ji showed him her truth through her eyes. Meanwhile, Toshu and Pakhi wonder where Rahi and Prem have gone. Just then, Mahi enters. Prem looks into Rahi’s eyes and begs her to say it—that she loves him. Mahi walks toward them, unaware of the moment she’s about to interrupt.
