The episode begins with Anupama confronting Dolly. She tells her that Meenu ended their relationship not because of her (Anupama), but because Dolly never respected Meenu’s husband, Sagar. She asks if Dolly ever treated Sagar well or gave him the respect a son-in-law deserves. Anupama then speaks to Pakhi, reminding her that whenever Anupama tried to get close, Pakhi pushed her away and asked her not to interfere. Now, when Anupama doesn’t interfere, Pakhi complains that her mother doesn’t care. She asks what exactly they want from her.

She turns to Toshu and says he has more ego than wisdom. Even though he was a topper in school and college, he failed in real life. Despite everything, she allowed him to stay and work at Anu Ki Rasoi so he wouldn’t feel left out like she once did. She reminds him that he once sent her to jail, yet she forgave him and still kept him around for the sake of his daughter Pari—so she wouldn’t feel her father is useless. But still, Toshu complains about her.
She then speaks to Kinjal and tells her that she has always supported her, especially when Toshu made mistakes. She never treated Kinjal like just a daughter-in-law, but always considered her as her own daughter. Still, Kinjal always ends up taking out her frustration on Anupama—and deep down, they both know why.
She then confronts Baa. She says that her son betrayed her for eight years during their 25-year marriage. When Anupama caught him, she divorced him, and somehow that made her the bad person. She sarcastically says, “You’re amazing,” because even when her son left the family on the streets, he was still considered right, while Anupama—who kept the family together—is always considered wrong. She reminds them of how Samar and Dimpy are no more and tells them to stop finding faults in her all the time. Instead, they should look in the mirror and reflect on their own actions. She takes the Diwali gifts back, saying she worked hard to buy them and would rather give them to poor people who will bless her, not curse her. She walks out.
Meanwhile, Prem is dancing on stage to the song Kudiyon Ka Zamana. The girls admire him, but Aadhya finds him annoying. Later, Aadhya joins the dance with Pari, Mahi, and Prem. While they’re having fun, Ishani suddenly spots Kunal and is shocked. She remembers promising him money. Kunal says his plan changed, so he came to the party. Ishani pulls him aside to talk.
Anupama is seen alone, crying silently. She reminds herself not to cry for people who don’t care. She sees kids playing outside and feels like Anuj is still around her, giving her strength. She smiles and wishes herself a happy Diwali. Then she gives the gifts she had taken back to those kids. The kids thank her and wish her happy birthday.
Back at the party, Ishani tells Kunal she’ll return his money. Ansh intervenes, asking Kunal why he’s bothering her. Kunal mocks him and says Ishani is not his sister. He calls her the kind of girl he’d only date for fun. Ansh gets angry. Ishani tries to stop the fight. Kunal accuses her of crashing his luxury car that she borrowed to impress people. Ansh tells him to deal with him directly now and promises to pay the money. After Kunal leaves, Ansh scolds Ishani for taking the car. Mahi and Pari also criticize her. Aadhya says that there’s a limit to pretending—renting clothes, borrowing cars—and tells Ishani to accept and be proud of who she really is.
Just then, Aadhya overhears “Meet The Cool Guy” scolding an event manager because no waiter is available. Aadhya offers to work as a waitress, saying she needs the money. She plans to use it for the kids’ gifts and her own needs. Meanwhile, Meet and his friend spike the drinks with alcohol. Aadhya unknowingly starts serving those drinks.
Anupama waits outside, thinking about playing games with Prem and making coffee. Inside, as Aadhya is serving, Pari, Mahi, and others join her. Ishani asks what’s going on. Aadhya tells them honestly that she took the job to earn some money. Ansh and others feel the job is inappropriate, but Aadhya defends herself saying there’s nothing wrong with honest work. She offers them drinks, and they all drink—except Prem.
Prem takes the tray from Aadhya and starts helping. He says he was just testing his skills from his hospital management training. Later, Ishani and Pari insist on taking drinks from Aadhya again. A while later, a guest stumbles into Aadhya while dancing, blames her, and tries to slap her. Aadhya grabs her hand and warns her not to try such things with her.
Meet The Cool Guy gets angry and orders Aadhya to clean the mess. He mocks her, asking if her dad will do it instead. Prem steps in and defends Aadhya. He says Meet should handle the mess with his own father. Meet tries to act superior, but Prem reminds him Aadhya is just helping in a tough situation. When Meet’s friend informs him they had cocktails instead of mocktails, Prem is shocked. He had promised Anupama nothing would go wrong.
Back at home, Baa worries about the girls. Anupama says Rahi is with them too. Baa dismisses Rahi as not being family. Prem and Aadhya realize Ishani, Pari, Mahi, and Ansh are all drunk. Aadhya panics. Prem says the spiked drink is the reason. They worry what Anupama will think. Aadhya refuses to call her. Prem says they should fix this quietly.
They return home. Anupama and others are shocked to see the state the kids are in. Everyone starts questioning them. Kinjal asks Pari, Pakhi asks Ishani. Ishani rudely tells them to stop. Baa asks if they were drunk. Ishani sarcastically says Rahi’s aunt gave them drinks. Ansh says he wanted to tell the truth, but Prem told him it was a harmless lie. Aadhya explains the drinks were spiked. Dolly says Ansh blamed Prem for the lie. Everyone is shocked and furious.
UPCOMING
Anupama loses her cool and raises her hand to slap Prem. She scolds him for breaking her trust and tells him to leave the house. She warns Aadhya too, saying she didn’t even give her own daughter the right to spoil the kids. Aadhya is left speechless. Prem walks away.
