The episode begins with Baa asking what’s going on. Aadhya gets furious and asks how he dared to touch her, then tells him to let go. He lets her fall. Aadhya gets more upset. Prem turns to everyone and apologizes, explaining that he had rushed to catch Rahi, who was falling from the ladder. He informs Anupama that Chef Prem has arrived. Ansh questions why she called him. Anupama tells him to relax. Ansh insists they need a professional chef. Toshu questions what this guy can do, saying they don’t even know him. Anupama responds that she knows him well and knows what she’s doing.

She announces that from now on, Prem will be working at Anu Ki Rasoi. Baa asks where she’ll get the money to pay him. Prem says he just wants to gain experience and is ready to work for free so he can learn from the famous Chef Anupama. Baa says the so-called chef is here to learn from you! Prem replies that he has a hotel management degree and knows how to cook, but wants to blend that with a mother’s love in his cooking. He says he’ll begin cooking right away. Anupama tells him to start immediately. Prem puts on his chef gear but mentions a small issue. Baa says the small problem is Choti.
Prem tells Anupama that he’s not from Ahmedabad and needs a place to stay, though he can handle the rest. Ansh sarcastically says they should book him a hotel suite. Aadhya mocks Prem too. Prem says he only needs a small room or even a corner to freshen up. Anupama says they don’t have extra space, but he can share with Ansh. Ansh is shocked and says, “My room?” Prem says he’ll get his things and leaves. Baa is upset and questions how she can allow a stranger to live here. Ansh says he won’t let him stay in his room. Others object too. Anupama says they can’t afford to hire a chef. Baa warns that if anything goes wrong, she will show her rage. Toshu adds that if anything bad happens at Anu Ki Rasoi, he’ll kick Prem out. Pakhi warns Anupama to keep him away from Ishu. Kinjal says he should stay away from Mahi and Pari too. Anupama says he helped her reunite with her daughter, and she trusts him a lot.
Meanwhile, Mahi is daydreaming about Prem and wants to look nice. Pari notices and asks what she’s thinking. Pari says Prem seems trustworthy. Ishu questions why Anu Maa let a man stay in their house, saying men usually have bad intentions. Just then, Prem knocks on the door and apologizes for the disturbance. Pari tells him to come in, but Ishu stops him, saying it’s her room too. Prem says he respects that and only came to say that if she can’t trust him, she also shouldn’t suspect him. He takes his charger from Mahi and leaves. He then goes to Ansh and sees a message from someone named Khalnayak, thinking he’s tired of hiding from him.
Ansh brings him to his room. Prem says, “So this is our room.” Ansh replies that he doesn’t like his vibe. Prem wonders why Ansh keeps following them and helping. Prem says Anu Maa invited him here. Ansh warns him not to break her trust or he’ll face consequences. Prem tells him to mind his tone, as he won’t tolerate disrespect.
Toshu is annoyed that despite doing everything, Anupama makes all the decisions. He complains that she brought a stranger home and made him chef. They all say this is typical Anupama. Dolly says they now have to keep an eye on Prem as well as Rahi.
Prem later tells Kaveri and Gauri that he’s happy Anupama gave him a chance. He says she calls him her companion, but in truth, she’s his guide. As he adjusts something, he finds Aadhya’s jewelry poking him and complains about her pride. Aadhya appears and calls him weird. They argue again. Prem says she’s rude, always fighting, and acts like a queen. Aadhya retorts and asks what he thinks of himself. Prem says he’s the king of his heart. She accuses him of following her. He says people follow him instead. Their argument continues. They both tell the other to leave. Kaveri pushes them, and they both fall on the grass. Prem tells her if she wants to sleep, she can stay there and walks off.
In the morning, Aadhya sees Prem sleeping in his jeep and laughs. He wakes up and laughs too, teasing her about joining a senior citizen club. She asks if Ansh threw him out. Prem says Ansh was busy with something, so he came to sleep there. Later, Prem thanks Anupama for letting him stay, even though they’re not related. Anupama apologizes for Ansh’s behavior. Prem says it’s fine; he wouldn’t trust a stranger either, especially if he had three sisters. He asks about her hand. Aadhya blames herself for Anupama calling Prem.
Anupama then teaches the kids how to clean silver at home. She uses aluminum foil, salt, baking soda, hot water, and a silver coin to demonstrate. Ansh finds it impressive. Baa jokes if gold can be cleaned using olive oil. Ansh praises her knowledge. Anupama says everything needed is in the kitchen. Mahi gives gift hampers they made to Ishu. Ishu finds them beautiful. Pakhi brings a silver coin and tells Ishu to keep it for the puja. Anupama asks where she got the money. Ishu says she got paid for a shoot. Anupama says she should have saved it. Pakhi makes a sarcastic comment. Janki Kaki arrives with some women and wishes them for Dhanteras. Baa tells them not to enter. Janki Behen sarcastically says they came to hear Baa’s taunts. Anupama calls Prem.
Pakhi and Dolly warn Baa to watch the silver coins, saying they don’t trust Prem or Rahi. Aadhya is still angry about Prem. Ishu speaks with Kunal and promises to give him money by evening or risk jail. The women begin their work. Janki Kaki says someone is coming with money for their order. Anupama says she’ll buy groceries first. Baa tells her to cook. Prem says he already made food along with the order. Anupama asks why he did it and thanks him. Baa asks for his name. Prem offers food to taste. Anupama praises his use of spices and calls him a magician. He serves Pari.
Pari enjoys the food. Ansh feels unhappy. Prem helps Pari pack the gift boxes. Anupama tells him to add nutmeg next time. He says he’ll remember. Toshu walks in doing calculations. Prem immediately gives the answer. Aadhya shows up. Prem offers her food. They all sit down to eat. Pari also sits on the floor. Ishu teases her. Anupama says eating on the floor is healthy and tells everyone to join. Aadhya also sits. Janki Behen says goodbye as the work is done. Anupama asks her to eat first. Janki refuses. Prem encourages her to eat with them. Mahi and Ansh also invite her. She hesitates. Anupama takes her by the hand. Baa gets upset and pushes porcelain dishes aside, saying outsiders shouldn’t eat in steel plates.
