Anupama On Starlife Sunday 29th June 2025 Written Episode Update
Anil encourages Parag, telling him to go for it and calling him the best of the best. Mita, irritated, asks what they’re doing and whether he’s actually going to do something or just keep praising. She tells him to be quiet, but she herself refuses to stay silent, saying that if anyone should speak up, it’s her in Baa’s household. Her mother-in-law shoots her a sharp look, and Mita falls silent. Meanwhile, Parag starts flying his kite confidently. His mother proudly announces that it’s Parag’s kite soaring high. Anupama helps a young boy fly his kite as others launch theirs into the sky as well. Khyati’s mother-in-law instructs her to hold the thread roll, saying a wife must know how to control her husband. Khyati takes the roll obediently. Parag skillfully cuts down everyone’s kites one by one until only his kite remains flying alone in the sky. Rahi notices Parag’s kite and tells Anupama to cut it down. Anupama hesitates, commenting that it looks expensive, but Rahi insists, and Anupama readies herself. Suddenly, a small kite approaches Parag’s kite, and Khyati’s mother-in-law urges Parag to cut it before it cuts his kite. Anil backs her up, telling Parag to act fast.

Meanwhile, Prem pulls his phone out from a bag of rice and thanks the shopkeeper. He calls Rahi, who answers and shows him that Anupama is flying a kite and is about to cut down the “tiger kite.” Prem asks whose kite it is, and Rahi replies she doesn’t know. Parag recalls a memory of his son, Tinku (Prem), urging him to cut kites in the sky, whispering “Yes, Tinku.” His mother tells him to call when he misses Tinku so much, but Parag insists he won’t come just because of that.
Anupama cuts Parag’s kite, leaving Prem stunned and Parag shocked as he watches his kite fall. Anupama tells the boy that his kite is still flying high, and Parag clutches the broken thread in frustration. Anupama jokes that since the kite is coming down, they should “loot” it. Guests remark that no one has ever managed to cut Parag’s kite before, so being defeated by a small kite is quite surprising. Anupama reassures the boy she’ll get the kite back. Parag leaves but soon stands in front of Anupama. Everyone gathers, and Rahi tells Prem she’ll call him later and ends the call. The boy thanks Anupama for returning his kite, and she smiles and says he’s welcome.
One guest comments, “So you’re the one who cut Parag bhai’s kite.” Anupama suddenly realizes she’s the one who beat Parag and apologizes shyly. Another guest praises her, saying she deserves a prize. Anupama refuses, saying she flew the kite just to make the boy happy.
Parag stops her and tells Anil to pay her for her efforts and the prize, but warns not to serve him food cooked by her. He says the food should go to the staff instead, and that he’ll get food ordered from a five-star hotel. Gautam supports this, promising to pay and send the women away. Rahi grabs Parag’s finger, daring him to say that. Everyone tells her to let go, but Parag angrily pulls Gautam toward him. Parag then offers money to Anupama. Anupama explains that kite competitions are about many things, and though there’s a prize, she doesn’t want it. She flies for a child’s happiness, which is her greatest reward. Janki behen praises her answer.
Anupama speaks about the food everyone worked hard to prepare, staying up all night. She asks Parag not to insult the food because no one has the right to disrespect it. She questions what wrong they have done that he refuses to accept Shrinath ji’s bhog and prasad.
Parag tells her she has made a mistake by cutting a bigger kite than her status. He accuses her of insulting his Baa on the road, damaging his car with her scooter, and entering his Jamai ji’s room. He lists all her mistakes in a single day and says every mistake is forgivable except insulting his mother. He orders her to leave immediately.
Anupama refuses and points out that while he gave many reasons for his anger, none were the real cause. If the real reason was whatever happened between their mothers, they wouldn’t have been cooking food there together. She tells him the real reason is his ego—he cannot bear defeat, especially at the hands of a woman. He warns her not to test his patience; she replies in kind. Anupama says they visited Shrinath ji today and prayed that next time he might bless someone poor or a shopkeeper’s home instead. Rahi sharply replies that Shrinath ji will never let them see the Kotharis again. With that, they leave.
Back home, Prem asks where Anupama and Rahi are. Mahi suggests maybe they want tea. Prem says they should have returned by now. Toshu and others speculate that Mummy might have gotten diamonds from the Kotharis. Anupama and Rahi arrive, and everyone eagerly asks what they received in return. Rahi tells Toshu to be quiet. Anupama and Rahi then recount everything that happened at the Kothari house. Toshu complains that they should have just endured it, but Rahi retorts that no one would tolerate being called a thief. Toshu and Pakhi accuse Anupama and Rahi of being prideful.
