Prem silently watches Rahi as she chats nearby. Mahi, noticing him, cheerfully offers him some corn, and he thanks her politely. Just then, Anupama arrives, explaining that she had stepped out to withdraw cash. Toshu suggests she could’ve just made an online payment, but Anupama tells him that she prefers handing salaries in envelopes, marked with a tilak—it makes the team feel like their hard work is respected and valued. She gives an envelope to Rahi, calling it her earnings. Rahi hands it back, and Anupama smiles, saying she’ll keep it safe, but it still belongs to her. She then turns to Prem, offering him an envelope too. He gently declines, saying he eats and lives here, and doesn’t need money. Anupama asks if he has any family. Prem reveals he’s an orphan and doesn’t have anyone. Pakhi and Toshu wonder if he really has no relatives at all. Prem quietly says maybe he does, but he doesn’t know them.
He adds that he’s fine living in Kaveri’s shed forever—he feels like he belongs with them now. Anupama warmly tells him he’s already part of their family. She tucks the envelope away and asks him to take her to the market. As he walks away, he glances at Rahi, but Mahi assumes the look is meant for her.
On the way to the market, Anupama remarks how cold the weather is and thanks Kanha ji for the big orders they’ve been receiving. Prem smiles and says Anu Ki Rasoi is on its way to becoming one of the best catering businesses. Anupama jokes about him sweet-talking and laughs. Prem tells her it’s not just sweet talk—he believes in her team, especially Rahi, who’s always stood by her. Anupama proudly says both her daughters are talented—Mahi is great at household work, just like her, and Rahi is smart in business, like her father. Prem agrees and adds that Mahi has a warmth that makes any place feel like home. Anupama says whoever marries her will be lucky. Prem then turns the praise to Rahi, calling her strong, independent, caring, bold, artistic, and not one to shy away from hard work.
When Anupama asks him what he wants to do in the future, he replies that he dreams of opening a café. She gently asks again about his family, just to understand him better. Prem says there’s no one else in his life except them and asks if she’s starting to doubt him. Anupama tells him she’s only asking because she cares. Meanwhile, back home, Mahi excitedly tells Pakhi that Anupama must’ve taken Prem out to talk about her. Pakhi disagrees and warns that Anupama might be planning to pair Prem with Rahi. She tells Mahi not to get her hopes up. Pari teases Rahi, asking if any guy proposed to her at the recent event because she looked beautiful.
At the market, Anupama suddenly sees a small girl walking dangerously close to a truck. Alarmed, she jumps out of the jeep and rushes to pull the girl to safety. The girl falls on the side and faints. A crowd quickly gathers. Anupama shouts for Prem to bring water. When he returns and sees the girl’s face, his expression changes—he’s visibly shaken but hides it. Anupama insists they should help her get home, but the girl wakes up, says she’s fine, and takes an auto, refusing any help. Later, back home, Radha teases Rahi for making three braids and hints she’s trying to impress someone. Rahi brushes it off, but as she sits alone, she finds herself remembering her moments with Prem and stares at a ring, caught between feelings and confusion.
Meanwhile, Mahi is shopping for earrings with Ishu, who wonders aloud what Prem even sees in Mahi. She calls him good-looking and stylish. Pakhi joins in, saying Mahi might be imagining things and that Prem actually spends more time with Rahi. She adds that Prem has no real background—no family or status—and calls him a loser. She warns Ishu not to fall in love with someone who has nothing. Just then, Mahi arrives with earrings in hand, overhearing everything, but says nothing.
Back at the house, Anupama notices that Prem looks pale and asks him what’s wrong. He says he’s just having a headache and requests some tea. Mahi rushes to Anupama and anxiously asks if she spoke to Prem about her. Anupama tells her to slow down—they can’t rush these things. But Mahi is panicking, saying she has this horrible feeling she’s going to lose him, and if that happens, she won’t be able to bear it. Anupama is taken aback and troubled by Mahi’s desperation. She remembers what Janki behen once told her and Prem’s own words. Something about the whole situation makes her uneasy.
Later, Prem calls the girl they had seen earlier. He softly asks if she’s okay after fainting on the road and tells her to take care of herself. He says she means a lot to him and promises to come see her soon. As he turns around after the call, he’s shocked to find Rahi standing behind him. She walks toward him and trips, falling into his arms. Their clothes get caught—her dupatta stuck in his watch, her hair tangled in his jacket zipper. As she tries to pull away, she accidentally hurts herself. Prem stops her, begging her not to hurt herself, saying she can hit him, yell at him—anything but that. He looks at her and confesses his love. “I love you, Rahi,” he says. Rahi tries to leave, but her hair gets more tangled. Just then, Anupama walks in and asks what’s going on. Prem quickly covers, saying they were discussing the next day’s orders. Anupama silently prays to Kanha ji, worried for them both.
That night, Prem calls Rahi, but she doesn’t answer. Radha notices and asks why she’s ignoring his calls. Rahi says it’s too late to talk and tells Radha to go to sleep. Radha chuckles and says she might sleep, but Rahi certainly won’t get any.

Rahi walks up to Prem and says, “You wanted my answer… I don’t love you.” Her words shatter him. Heartbroken, he walks away, but just moments later, he is ambushed by goons who beat him badly.
