The episode begins with Radha’s father telling everyone that she is his daughter, and since his wife is unwell, someone has to do the work. Rahi objects and says he should be doing the work, not Radha. She questions the lady who took Radha in, asking if she doesn’t feel ashamed of making a young girl work. The lady defends herself, saying Radha will only play with her daughter and help with housework when the other girl goes to school.
Rahi firmly says that this kind of arrangement takes away a child’s right to education and a real childhood. The lady coldly replies that poor children don’t have a childhood. Anupama steps in and says they do, but people like her steal it. Rahi says whether rich or poor, all children deserve the joy of flying kites, playing in open fields, and resting in their mother’s lap—but people like them separate kids from these joys and their families.
The lady insists that the children’s parents get money in return. Anupama strongly argues that while the parents earn, and the employers get help, the children lose everything—they lose their childhood. She tells Radha’s father he has no right to do this. When the lady tells Anupama not to interfere, Anupama replies that child labor is not a private matter—it’s illegal. She says a child is not a toy and using poor children for the comfort of rich families is a crime. She warns that such parenting spoils children and leads them to dangerous behaviors like reckless driving and disrespect toward the underprivileged.
Rahi also scolds Radha’s father, saying a daughter sees her father as a superhero—but he has become a villain. Anupama questions why people obey rules abroad but break them here. She says if people have money, they should help educate poor children instead of exploiting them.
Meanwhile, Pakhi tells Toshu to call Radha’s father and send the girl back. Toshu casually says Anupama and Rahi went to get her but will return empty-handed. The lady claims Radha will be safer in her home than with her father. Radha’s father admits that he gave Radha away after Toshu called and said he wouldn’t take responsibility. The lady challenges Anupama to take responsibility for Radha.
Anupama and Rahi return home. Pakhi and Toshu seem relieved that Radha didn’t return. Prem enters holding Radha, who is smiling with balloons. He tells her to check out the shoes kept in the room.
Anupama remembers how Radha’s father asked her to take responsibility and tried to force her to prove it. She had slapped him and declared she would not give guarantees, but she would care for Radha. She also warned him to stay away from Radha and Shrishti, or she’d have him arrested.
Pakhi and Toshu ask why Radha was brought back. Dolly and Toshu complain that she causes trouble. Anupama reminds them that Radha’s father is a drunkard, yet they still sent her with him. Rahi adds that he even took payment from the woman who planned to use Radha as a housemaid. Toshu says it might’ve helped Radha learn something. Anupama sharply says if that’s the case, she should’ve sent him to work as a child. She points out that children working in their own homes do it willingly—but when they work in others’ homes, it’s out of helplessness.
Just then, Janki Behen calls Anupama, who is shocked to hear that Shrishti has slipped into a coma. The doctor says nothing can be predicted. Baa voices concern about raising Radha, questioning who will take her to school. Ishu worries about her getting hurt. Anupama says she will talk to Janki Behen. Rahi steps up and says she will take full responsibility for Radha until her mother recovers. Pakhi argues that raising a child is no small task. Kinjal and Ishu also oppose adding more people to the house. Rahi says Radha can stay in her room, even if it’s Ansh’s room.
Rahi explains that she’s cared for children in the orphanage and feels a special bond with Radha. Anupama warns her that this decision shouldn’t be made emotionally. She reminds Rahi that the business has already suffered losses, and Rahi must focus on helping. Rahi says they’ll manage together as a team. She pleads with Anupama not to separate her from Radha, saying Radha makes her feel at home and she promises to manage both—work and responsibility. Prem also offers to help. Anupama agrees but warns that she won’t forgive any mistake involving Radha. Rahi accepts the responsibility, and everyone agrees to support her. Rahi hugs Anupama, but Mahi looks upset.
Rahi joins Radha and plays with her, blowing soap bubbles. Meanwhile, Mahi angrily starts making tea. Prem notices and tries to cheer her up. He asks if she was crying. Mahi lies, but eventually expresses her fear—saying Rahi took advantage of Anupama’s love and that she was there when Anupama was shattered after Rahi eloped. She worries that if forced to choose, Anupama will choose Rahi over her. Prem reassures her that Anupama loves her deeply and equally.
UPCOMING
Anupama says they will celebrate Vivaah Panchami in the neighborhood. Rahi explains to Radha the story of Ram and Sita’s marriage. During the celebration, Mahi faints before going on stage. Rahi steps in and exchanges garlands with Prem. Mahi regains consciousness and feels hurt seeing Rahi and Prem pose as Ram and Sita.
