Shiv looks at Gayatri’s photo and remembers the moments he shared with her. He quietly cries. Shakti comes and tries to comfort him. Shiv says that Gayatri didn’t even live to see their happiness. Shakti then says she has an idea that might bring peace to Gayatri’s soul.
Meanwhile, Dadi is unable to sleep as she keeps thinking about the curse from 25 years ago and how Shiv is now in danger. She suddenly gets up and says the biggest threat they’ve faced has been sleeping for 25 years, but it’s going to wake up now. She wonders how she’ll protect her family. Dadi opens a trunk and pulls out a diary, saying it contains everything. Even if she dies, she hopes someone finds the diary and protects Shiv. Just then, Shiv and Shakti enter the room, so Dadi hides the diary quickly. Shiv tells Dadi he wants to do Gayatri’s final prayer ceremony before Koyal’s wedding. Dadi agrees. Shiv says he wants to go to Shivpur for the ritual because that’s where Gayatri’s family lives, and she had wished for it. Dadi remembers a priest warning her never to let Shiv return to Shivpur. She refuses and says he should do the ritual there itself, by the local Ganga. Shiv argues that she’s never let him go to Shivpur. Dadi insists that he cannot go. Shakti agrees with Dadi and says they’ll perform the ritual here. She then leaves with Shiv.
The next morning, Shiv gets ready for the ceremony. Ragunath remembers the wrong he did to Gayatri and regrets his actions. He wishes her peace in the afterlife. Shiv says it’s time to say goodbye. Kartik also wants to join, and Ragunath agrees. As Shiv, Shakti, and Kartik are about to leave, Keertan and Padma arrive. Shiv angrily tells them to leave before he loses control. But Keertan surprises him by folding his hands and asking for forgiveness. He says he’s made many mistakes. Padma also apologizes. Dadi asks what’s going on. Keertan and Padma plead for a second chance, saying they realized the importance of family after being thrown out. Keertan admits he was influenced by his mother but now he sees things clearly. They both ask Ragunath and Kamal to forgive them. Padma says she only followed Mandira out of fear. Dadi says it’s Shiv’s decision. Keertan kneels at Shiv’s feet and begs for forgiveness, promising never to hurt him again. Shakti gives Shiv a supportive look. Shiv says he can’t refuse today, since it’s Gayatri’s ritual and she believed in keeping the family united. He allows them to stay but warns that if they cause trouble again, he’ll make them pay. Keertan promises he’ll never give a reason for complaint. Dadi tells Shiv and Shakti to go to the river Ganga for the ritual. Shiv leaves the house, but Dadi still looks very worried.
