The episode begins with Tanuja gently urging Shrishti to give her blessings to Arshi, and Shrishti complies, placing her hand on Arshi’s head with quiet restraint. Appu, watching closely, decides to give her own blessings too. But as she hands over a pair of bangles, she casually mentions that they weren’t her idea—Lalon had brought them. Her innocent comment lands heavily. Arshi’s face changes, visibly stung by the remark. Anjana quickly steps in, trying to smooth things over, and advises Appu to be careful with her words. Noticing the tension, Anirudh pulls Appu aside and gently tells her that if she doesn’t want to give a gift, that’s fine—but she should be kinder with her words. Appu looks at him curiously and asks, “Are you upset because I spoke like that to your wife?”

Meanwhile, Dadi asks Bipasha to step forward and bless Arshi as well, but Bipasha flatly refuses. She reminds Dadi that earlier, she was the one who told her to step back. Tanuja tries to mediate, saying she doesn’t believe in following outdated rituals blindly. Still, Anjana insists that this is a family tradition, and Bipasha should go along with it. Bipasha holds her ground and throws out a bitter line—maybe Arshi feels the same way about her as Dadi does. Arshi quickly denies it, but the damage is done. Inwardly, Bipasha begins plotting. She looks at Arshi’s pregnancy as a new opportunity to stir up trouble.
Far from the celebrations, Jhanak arrives breathless at the police station, chased by shadows from the past. As soon as she gets there, Maasi’s men catch wind of her location and rush to inform Maasi. Inside the station, Jhanak pleads for help, desperation written all over her face. Back at the den, Maasi demands to know who dared to help Jhanak escape. One of the girls hesitates, then mutters that Bani had been with her. Maasi calls Bani in for questioning. Bani lies through her teeth, claiming she had locked Jhanak inside room number three and had no idea what happened after. Maasi doesn’t buy it. She scolds her men for their failure and instructs them to go fetch Dadu. Turning to Bani, her voice drops dangerously. If she finds out Bani betrayed her, there will be no forgiveness.
At the station, the police inspector sits Jhanak down and asks her to explain what happened. She tells him everything—how Dadu and Daadi sold her into a red light district, how she’d managed to escape thanks to a kind stranger. The inspector wants more details. “Don’t you have any relatives?” he asks. Jhanak, hesitant but hopeful, gives him Choton’s phone number. The inspector dials. Choton is stunned when he hears what’s happened. He asks immediately about Jhanak’s condition. His voice trembles. Not far away, Anirudh catches fragments of the conversation and stops in his tracks, sensing something serious.
Elsewhere, Jimli vents her frustration to Lalon about Bipasha’s attitude. Kajol quickly jumps in, defending her. She says she didn’t let Jimli scold Bipasha because things are tense enough already. Appu, listening quietly, says what everyone else is thinking—Bipasha hasn’t changed one bit. Lalon puts a calming hand on her shoulder, asking her not to get upset. Turning to Kajol, he asks if she brought the doll. Kajol hands it over—a worn, beloved toy from Appu’s past. Appu’s eyes light up as she clutches it. “Jhanak gave me this,” she whispers, tears welling up. She hugs the doll tightly, her voice breaking as she begs Lalon to find Jhanak and bring her home.
Back at the station, the inspector tells Choton that if he wants to meet Jhanak, he needs to come there in person. He also breaks the hard truth—Jhanak had been found living in a red light area. Choton’s heart sinks. He rushes to tell Anirudh and insists that he must go to her immediately. Anirudh doesn’t hesitate—he says he’ll come too. But just as they’re about to leave, Arshi, visibly uneasy, asks Anirudh not to go. Choton, unable to wait, heads out alone. Anirudh, caught between loyalty and love, turns on Arshi in frustration. His words are sharp, but he realizes it too late. He apologizes, trying to pull himself together.
