The episode begins with Mimi approaching Jhanak to apologize for hurting her, admitting she feels deeply ashamed. Jhanak assures her that it’s alright, but Mimi continues, opening up about her relationship with Anirban. She says she truly understood Jhanak’s feelings only when her own relationship was on the verge of breaking apart. She acknowledges that Jhanak fought for her love, yet no one stood by her during that time. Anjana enters with a food tray and happily announces that Mimi is getting married. Jhanak congratulates her warmly, and Anjana adds that Mimi and Anirban’s wedding will take place after Choton and Meenu’s marriage.

Elsewhere, Bipasha tells Arshi that now she understands her frustration, as many family members seem to be siding with Jhanak. Tanuja dismisses Shubh’s influence and warns that Anirudh’s life is heading toward disaster. Bipasha agrees, but Tanuja insists that Anirudh will never listen to anyone when it comes to Jhanak. She hints they must come up with a firm plan. Arshi admits she’s confused, pointing out that even Shrishti seems to have changed, leaving her unsure of what to do. Tanuja remarks that if Jhanak wants to remain in the house, she will have to take care of Arshi. Arshi questions why Jhanak would ever agree, especially since Anirudh has already left for work.
At that moment, Jhanak walks in carrying tea. Tanuja immediately asks her about her decision. Jhanak calmly says she intends to leave, but Choton and Anjana convinced her to stay. Bipasha argues that she can’t live there without contributing, to which Jhanak replies that she already manages several household chores. Arshi cuts in with a sharp taunt, calling her shameless. Jhanak responds with quiet defiance, pointing out that Arshi has a loving husband and supportive in-laws, yet still isn’t content. Arshi warns her to stay away from Anirudh. Jhanak admits she loves him but promises she will never destroy anyone’s family.
Anirudh enters and overhears this exchange. Jhanak explains that the only reason Anirudh is still with Arshi is because he is a responsible man who values his commitments. This infuriates Arshi, and she lashes out, prompting Jhanak to reveal that her feelings for Anirudh began before his marriage to Arshi. She adds that she is only in this situation because of Arshi’s actions. Tanuja repeats her condition—if Jhanak stays, she must care for Arshi. Watching silently, Anirudh wonders why Jhanak continues to endure so much.
Arshi accuses Jhanak of being a threat to her marriage. Jhanak says she knows exactly who she is and will not be bound by anyone’s conditions. Still, she agrees to care for Arshi if that’s truly what she wants. Arshi then announces that from now on, whenever Anirudh is away, Jhanak will be by her side. Reluctantly, Jhanak agrees and walks away. Anirudh follows, wanting to speak with her, but she refuses.
Meanwhile, Kul Bhushan angrily scolds Mr. Mittal for failing to locate Jhanak. Mr. Mittal warns him that if he doesn’t secure bail soon, he will be arrested. A goon arrives with false news that Jhanak has been sold into the red-light district. Alarmed, Kul Bhushan prepares to go there, but the goon quickly changes his story, saying she is living with a relative. After confirming Jhanak’s whereabouts from Shrishti, Kul Bhushan leaves for Kolkata.
Back at the house, Dadi tells Tanuja that she doesn’t believe Jhanak would ever willingly go to such a place. She admits she doesn’t want Jhanak living there, but also acknowledges the immense suffering the girl has endured. She wonders how she can ask Jhanak to leave when she has no other shelter. Choton firmly declares that Jhanak will stay, and both he and Appu stand united in this decision.
Anirudh checks on Jhanak, asking if she has eaten. Anjana informs him she hasn’t touched her food. Concerned, he notes that she looks pale and insists she needs proper nourishment. Arshi, clearly irritated by his concern, scolds him. Jhanak dismisses the need for anyone to care for her. Arshi then pointedly announces that Shrishti will be taking Jhanak away. At that moment, Shrishti walks in.
