The episode opens with Mimi asking Choton to buy her a new outfit for his wedding. Bipasha enters with news—Arshi isn’t feeling well and won’t attend. Choton urges her to at least come for a few minutes, but Arshi refuses, unwilling to take any risks. Anjana offers to stay with her. Just then, Anirudh arrives, and Choton asks for his guest list. Rimi wonders aloud if Anirudh will attend without Arshi. Arshi quickly replies that Jhanak will take care of her. Anjana questions if that means Jhanak won’t be attending. Bipasha teases Anjana for her concern over Jhanak, but Mimi suggests Bipasha stay with Arshi instead. Bipasha reminds everyone that Jhanak is Arshi’s caretaker and has already promised to look after her. At that moment, Jhanak arrives.

Elsewhere, Anuradha asks Jhimli where she is headed. Jhimli explains she doesn’t want her share of the money—she plans to finish her studies and get a job. Anuradha admits the people in their locality aren’t bad, but Anindo’s perspective is different, making him the one in the wrong. Jhimli leaves, and Anuradha hopes the situation will improve. Back at the gathering, Choton declares that Jhanak is his guest, and his wedding will not happen without her presence. Anirudh agrees to attend for a short while. Arshi protests, asking how she’s supposed to manage alone. Anirudh suggests they both attend. Choton insists that both Anirudh and Jhanak will be there and urges Arshi to join them. Arshi comments on Jhanak’s skill in caring for children, and Jhanak reassures her she will take care of her. But Choton presses Jhanak, asking if she’s planning to skip the wedding, making it clear that the decision is his. He adds that if Arshi won’t come, then Srishti can look after her instead.
At the hospital, Kajol tells Lalon that Appu must be hungry. Lalon notes how much she cares for Appu, and Kajol credits Appu for changing her. When Lalon asks about her marriage plans, she avoids the question. He recalls that she once loved him, but he never saw her that way. Kajol assures him she has accepted it.
Meanwhile, Appu tells the doctor she wants to see Lalon. The doctor advises her to act as if he isn’t there. She cries and calls out for him, but the doctor comforts her. Kajol tells Lalon that Appu seems to be learning to control her feelings. When they enter the room, Appu nearly hugs Lalon but stops herself. She breaks down, and the doctor intervenes. Resolute, Appu declares she will walk on her own and leaves, Kajol following. The doctor tells Lalon that Appu must build her confidence and not depend on him. Lalon agrees.
Later, Jhimli meets Anindo and hands him money, saying they can use it for the wedding. Anindo questions why they should spend it on that. Jhimli admits she already regrets stealing it. Anindo reminds her he never told her to steal. She insists he keep it, revealing it’s fifty lakhs, and says she cannot return home. Anindo decides they should marry that very day, assuring her that everything will be fine. He warns Lalon might go to the police, but Jhimli says she will tell Anuradha the truth after the wedding.
Back at home, Arshi vents her frustration, claiming humanity no longer exists. Choton reminds her that she took Anirudh away from Jhanak. Anirudh tries to calm him, but Choton refuses, saying he can’t keep quiet anymore. He declares that Jhanak is not Arshi’s property. Arshi retorts that Jhanak cannot stay in the house if she refuses to care for her. Choton says Arshi has no authority to make that decision. Arshi insists that as Jhanak’s elder sister, she has the right. Jhanak firmly states she’s never given anyone such rights. She declares she will attend the wedding if she chooses and makes it clear she is only looking after Arshi because she owes a debt to Anirudh.
