The episode begins with Anirudh pleading with Jhanak to listen to him, but she refuses, worried that the family might see them together and once again misunderstand her. Anirudh tries to convince her, reminding her that she must attend Choton’s wedding and should not let others influence her decision. When Jhanak questions him, he clarifies that she should not skip the wedding for anyone’s sake. After some hesitation, she agrees—but only if Arshi has no objections. At that moment, Lal and Bipasha notice them together, and Bipasha secretly clicks a photo. She confronts them, demanding to know what they are doing. Anirudh boldly admits that he was talking to Jhanak and asks what is wrong with that. Jhanak quietly slips away, heading inside.

Meanwhile, Choton surprises Mrinalini with a special gift. She is touched but scolds him gently for spending so much, especially since they are about to begin their married life. Choton explains that he wanted to prove himself because everyone in the family dismisses him as useless. Though pleased with the gesture, Mrinalini urges him to be more responsible with money. He then shows her another gift—one that Jhanak helped him choose—and she praises its beauty. Choton admits his concern over Jhanak’s mistreatment in his house, confessing that no one cares about her struggles. Just then, Mrinalini’s father arrives. Choton respectfully presents him with a pen, and the man is deeply moved, recalling how he had once lost the same kind of pen that his own father had gifted him.
Elsewhere, Appu breaks down before Anuradha, worried about the doctor’s words. Anuradha wonders why the doctor said such things, while Kajol reassures Appu that it is just a part of her treatment. But Appu refuses to go to the hospital, accusing Lalon of cruelty when he insists. Hurt and upset, she declares she will not speak to him anymore. Trying to shift the mood, Lalon asks about Jhimli’s whereabouts. Anuradha explains that Jhimli has gone to college to apply for her exams, likely under Anindo’s insistence that she complete her graduation.
The conversation shifts when Lalon asks about the builder. Anuradha admits she is nervous about keeping money at home but assures him no one has arrived yet. Just then, the builder arrives. Appu immediately warns him not to run away with their money. Lalon instructs Anuradha to bring the bag, but when she opens the cupboard, she is horrified—the bag is missing. Panic spreads as Lalon demands answers. Anuradha breaks down in tears, and the builder, sensing something wrong, says he will return in the evening before leaving. Lalon, desperate to solve the mystery, orders Kajol to call Jhimli, but she is not answering her phone.
Back at the Bose house, Tanuja confronts Jhanak with the photo Bipasha took, demanding to know what she was discussing with Anirudh. Jhanak calmly suggests she should ask Anirudh himself. Bipasha jumps in, accusing Jhanak of becoming arrogant simply because a few people in the house support her. She warns her not to cross the line. Tanuja sternly instructs Jhanak to stop talking to Anirudh privately. Jhanak defends herself, saying she has no interest in interfering with Arshi and Anirudh’s life. Still suspicious, Bipasha vows to keep an eye on her. Jhanak, though outwardly calm, quietly wonders how long she will have to endure such treatment.
Meanwhile, Vihaan tells Ketki that he is leaving for Kolkata to attend Choton’s wedding and meet Anirudh. Prachi encourages him to enjoy himself. Ketki asks him to take a gift for Choton, which he agrees to, but then he reveals something shocking—Jhanak is also in Kolkata. Prachi immediately asks what he plans to do. Vihaan declares firmly that he will ask Jhanak to return with him, saying that Ahaan needs her and that she is the mother he truly requires. He promises that if Jhanak agrees, he will bring her back. Looking straight at Ketki, he demands that she promise not to harm Jhanak. Ketki hesitates, then vaguely replies that she will think about it.
Later, Tanuja warns Jhanak once more that if Arshi sees her with Anirudh, it will deeply hurt her. Bipasha insists Jhanak cannot be trusted. Jhanak maintains her innocence, reminding them she has no wish to come between Arshi and Anirudh. Tanuja leaves, but Bipasha remains suspicious, determined to keep watch. Alone, Jhanak feels weary of the constant accusations and wonders when her life will stop being defined by such hostility.
