The episode begins with Choton’s wedding procession arriving at the venue, where Mrinalini’s mother greets him warmly. Apu asks Jhanak to come along to see the bride, and she agrees. Anjana inquires if Mrinalini is ready, and her mother assures her that everything is set. Tanuja comments that after marriage, Mrinalini will have to juggle both work and family life. With calm confidence, Mrinalini’s mother replies that her daughter is more than capable of handling both. She then slyly remarks that unlike Mrinalini, Bipasha hardly contributes at home. Bipasha takes offense and retorts, asking if Mrinalini’s mother even knows anything about her background. Brushing her off, Mrinalini’s mother says there’s no need and pointedly reminds Tanuja how her own life transformed after marrying Shubhankar. She leaves soon after, and Tanuja mutters that it’s clear why Mrinalini has grown into such a strong-willed woman. Bipasha, stung by the insult, suggests that they should find a way to teach her a lesson.

Apu and Jhanak then go to meet Mrinalini. Overjoyed, Mrinalini hugs Jhanak tightly and says she would have been truly upset if Jhanak had missed her wedding day. Jhanak admits she cannot take decisions for herself as freely as Mrinalini can. Mrinalini comforts her, assuring her that she too has the right to make her own choices in life. Nearby, Rumi mentions that Arshi is alone at home, but Mimi quickly reminds her that Dadi is there to look after her. Mrinalini gently advises Jhanak to set aside her worries and enjoy the wedding celebrations. Elsewhere, Anirudh teases Choton, asking if he is nervous. Choton admits that although he and Mrinalini already know each other well, the sight of the wedding mandap still makes him anxious. Anirudh encourages him, telling him this is just the beginning of a new chapter, and announces that it is time for the varmala ceremony.
Mrinalini makes her grand entrance, and her father immediately asks about Dadi. Tanuja explains that Dadi has stayed home to look after Arshi. Choton and Mrinalini exchange garlands as everyone cheers. At that moment, Jhanak suddenly stumbles, and Anirudh instinctively catches her. Their eyes lock, and for a brief moment, the world around them seems to pause.
Back at home, Arshi tries to call Anirudh, but he does not answer. Feeling neglected, she grows restless, assuming that he and Jhanak must be enjoying themselves at the wedding while she is left alone. She tries Jhanak’s number too, but no one picks up. At the venue, Bipasha notices the silent exchange between Anirudh and Jhanak. Furious, she shouts Jhanak’s name, snapping them out of the moment. Wasting no time, she calls Arshi and describes what she has just seen. Hearing this, Arshi’s anger flares, and she cuts the call abruptly. Bipasha then confronts Anirudh, reminding him that Arshi has been trying to reach him.
Anirudh steps aside and finally calls Arshi back. Overcome with emotion, Arshi scolds him bitterly, accusing him of ignoring her. Already frustrated, Anirudh tells her she is mentally torturing him with her constant suspicions. Arshi threatens that she will not spare Jhanak, vowing to put her in her place. Anirudh firmly warns her not to spoil Jhanak’s happiness. Arshi snaps back that he should remember he is about to become a father and should act more responsibly. Losing patience, Anirudh says he has no time for such drama and abruptly ends the call.
Jhanak, uneasy after overhearing some of this, asks Anirudh to arrange a car so she can go check on Arshi. But Anirudh brushes it aside, reminding her that Dadi is with Arshi and urging her to stay and enjoy the wedding instead of worrying.
Meanwhile, at Anindo’s house, tensions run high. He mocks Jhimli, saying she was practically a maid in her own home, so why is she now demanding a maid here? His father orders him to hand over his earnings for safekeeping, but Anindo refuses, complaining that his father will just deposit it in the bank. Jhimli reminds him of his promise to buy jewelry, and Anindo assures her he will, but his mother interrupts, rudely instructing Jhimli to cook, while his father demands tea.
Jhimli tells Anindo she needs to change her clothes, and he promises to buy her something new. But when she enters the kitchen, she is stunned to find it dirty and neglected. Outside, Anindo’s father praises him for bringing home fifty lakhs, exposing his own materialistic mindset. As Jhimli reluctantly serves tea, doubts begin to creep into her mind about Anindo’s honesty, but she forces herself to believe he would never deceive her.
Back at the wedding, Shrishti approaches Jhanak, showering her with compliments. She insists Jhanak should not leave to check on Arshi and should instead stay to enjoy the festivities. Jhanak argues that Arshi is alone and needs her. Anirudh steps in, supporting Jhanak, but then Shrishti drops a shocking remark—if Anirudh is so concerned about Jhanak, perhaps he should just marry her. Both Anirudh and Jhanak are left shaken by the comment. Jhanak, visibly distressed, demands how Shrishti could even think of such a thing. She firmly declares that she will never destroy Arshi’s marriage and storms away.
At that very moment, tragedy strikes at home. Arshi loses her balance and tumbles down the stairs, while Dadi rushes to her side in a panic.

At the wedding, Jhanak and Anirudh join Mrinalini on the dance floor, smiling and lost in the celebration. Just then, Anirudh’s phone rings—it is Dadi, calling with urgent news about Arshi’s accident.
