Jhanak 25th August 2025 Written Update Starlife
The episode begins with Jhanak expressing that she wants to visit Arshi since she is injured and insists that she means nothing more by it. Choton sadly remarks that Jhanak’s life is tied down by duties, and she never gets the chance to live freely, even for a single day. He encourages Anirudh to return home, and Anirudh leaves with Jhanak, followed closely by Bipasha and Lal. When they reach, Anirudh immediately asks Arshi about her condition, but Dadi cuts him off, saying he came too late. Anirudh defends himself, explaining that he could have skipped Choton’s wedding, but it was Arshi who refused to go with him. He asks why everyone is blaming him for everything. Arshi, frustrated, says there is no point in expecting anything from him and holds him responsible for her situation. Jhanak gently suggests that Anirudh arrange for a doctor, but Arshi mocks her concern. Dadi scolds Jhanak, saying she should not have gone to the wedding at all, but Jhanak argues that she could not miss such an important day in Choton’s life. Finally, Anirudh decides to call the doctor.

Elsewhere, Appu senses that Jhimli might be in danger and insists they go find her. Anuradha coldly remarks that they should accept Jhimli is gone, which enrages Appu, who lashes out and calls her a heartless mother. Kajol tries to calm things down, explaining that no one knows where Jhimli or Anindo are at this point. Lalon worries aloud about what could happen if Anindo has taken Jhimli’s money. Kajol points out that Anindo is wealthy, but Anuradha argues that Jhimli left with money, which means Anindo must have been after it from the start. She is convinced that he tricked and manipulated Jhimli into running away.
Kajol wonders where Jhimli could be now, but Anuradha reminds everyone that her phone is switched off, leaving them with no way to contact her. Lalon admits that unless Jhimli herself reaches out, they won’t get any updates. Appu, missing Jhimli terribly, breaks down and pleads with them to search for her, but Lalon explains that the police are already looking and claim they are doing their best. Anuradha insists that since Jhimli is married now, they no longer have any control over her choices. Lalon adds that if Jhimli is truly happy with Anindo, then nothing else should matter, but Kajol remains uneasy, hoping Jhimli is not in any danger.
At Anindo’s house, he arrives to find his mother complaining that Jhimli has locked herself in a room and hasn’t even cooked. Anindo reassures her, saying not to be upset because he still needs Jhimli, reminding her that they have Jhimli’s money. He adds that Jhimli will be leaving in two days, leaving his mother puzzled. She mentions that the neighbors have begun questioning why he keeps bringing different women home, but Anindo warns her not to let Jhimli hear anything. He then calls out for Jhimli to eat. Jhimli steps out and shocks them by handing over her jewelry to her mother-in-law. Confused, Anindo asks what she is doing. Jhimli explains that her mother never taught her to wear imitation jewelry, and then she produces a bill he had accidentally left behind in her room. She demands her money back immediately.
Back at Arshi’s home, tensions rise as Arshi lashes out at Jhanak, ordering her to stay away and warning that if anything happens to her baby, she won’t forgive her. Anirudh insists on calling the doctor as the family gathers. Shubh criticizes both Anirudh and Jhanak, saying at least one of them should have stayed with Arshi. Just then, Shrishti and Vinayak arrive and ask about Arshi’s condition. Tanuja adds her complaint, saying someone should have been there for her. Anirudh, frustrated, questions why Jhanak is being blamed when even his own family didn’t stay with Arshi. Shrishti surprisingly supports Jhanak, reminding Arshi that she is her sister, not a servant. Arshi, furious, tells Shrishti to leave, but Shrishti refuses, saying both her daughters are there, so she has every right to stay. Shubh questions Shrishti’s sudden change of heart, but Anirudh snaps back, pointing out that Shubh himself has changed. Shubh declares that as it concerns the family, he has every right to speak.
The argument escalates as Anirudh accuses his family of deliberately poisoning Arshi’s mind against him. Arshi bites back, saying that had she gone with him to the wedding, he would not have had the opportunity to embrace Jhanak. Bipasha sides with Arshi, adding fuel to the fire. Anirudh firmly defends himself, saying there was nothing wrong in attending Choton’s wedding. He reminds everyone that Anjana had even offered to stay with Arshi, but she refused. He adds that Arshi was less worried about her health and more about preventing him from going anywhere with Jhanak. He stresses that Jhanak is not a maid and declares that he will not take the blame for everything that goes wrong.
Meanwhile, Anindo tries to calm Jhimli down by telling her that his father refused to release money for jewelry because he wants to invest it in business. He apologizes but insists his hands are tied. Jhimli, however, stands her ground, demanding her money back by tomorrow and declaring that she will return to her mother’s house. Furious, Anindo scolds her for speaking this way.
Back at Arshi’s, Shrishti admits openly that she has wronged Jhanak in the past, and that is why Jhanak doesn’t wish to stay with her. Arshi turns on her, asking if she is now blaming her as well. Vinayak tries to calm everyone down, suggesting this is not the time for such arguments. At that moment, Anirudh announces that the ambulance has arrived, and everyone rushes as Arshi is taken away for treatment.

Jhanak tells Anirudh that she wants to meet Arshi once. Anirudh replies that the doctor has mentioned a very difficult decision lies ahead.
