Ketki threatening to throw Prachi out of the house. Jhanak tells Ketki that she can’t do that legally. She says Prachi has done so much for this family. Jhanak adds that just because Prachi supports Priyashi’s decision, it doesn’t mean Ketki should throw Prachi out. Ketki scolds Jhanak for teaching her about the law. Mahek tells Jhanak that Ketki will never understand her. She says it hurts her whenever Ketki scolds Jhanak. Sejal tells Mahek that she learned many things in her in-laws’ house. She says that once married, a daughter is nothing but a guest. Mahek responds that she is still a daughter of this house and knows her rights. She tells Sejal that if her family treats her like a guest, there’s nothing she can do.

Ketki asks them to stop fighting. She accuses Jhanak of manipulating everyone. Jhanak says she did not manipulate anyone. She asks Ketki why she isn’t understanding Priyanshi’s dreams. Ketki insists that Priyanshi won’t go anywhere and will only pursue her dreams after marriage. Priyanshi tells Ketki that she has a program one day before the wedding and requests permission to attend. Ketki asks who goes out before marriage and says the wedding will be canceled if Priyanshi leaves. Priyanshi tells Ketki that she doesn’t want to get married; she wants to focus on her studies. Ketki asks Prachi to make Priyanshi understand. Sejal says Priyanshi is going down the wrong path and adds that she doesn’t want Riddhi to be around Jhanak. Jhanak responds by saying that Riddhi enjoys spending time with her, which is why Riddhi visits her.
Arshi says that Anirudh told her Jhanak is safe, so that’s enough for her. Anirudh asks Arshi if she has packed everything. Arshi nods. Jhanak talks to Ahaan, asking if he will miss her when she leaves. She tells him how much she loves him and asks him to sleep. Vihaan overhears this conversation. Ahaan falls asleep, and Jhanak gently places him on the bed. Vihaan enters and says that Pulkit stood up for Priyanshi, so he wants the wedding to happen smoothly. Jhanak asks if he thinks she is the one causing problems. He tells her not to do anything for Priyanshi’s inter-school competition. He also tells her that Anirudh and Arshi are coming soon.
Vihaan mentions that he doesn’t know anything about Jhanak’s past, and she can leave whenever she wants, but he wants to become her friend. Jhanak tells him he should tell his family the truth one day. She suggests that Vihaan should start his life and asks if he plans to get married. He responds, asking if she knows that Jhanak is single. She refuses to discuss it, and he says he will wait to hear about her past. Vihaan then asks why she isn’t reacting to Anirudh and Arshi’s arrival. He reveals that Anirudh said he saw Jhanak in Kolkata. Jhanak dismisses this, saying Anirudh must have lied. Vihaan starts to believe Jhanak is hiding something.
Ketki lashes out and threatens to throw Prachi out of the house, infuriated by her support for Priyanshi. Jhanak steps in firmly, telling Ketki she has no legal right to do that. She reminds her that Prachi has done so much for this family and deserves respect, not punishment, for standing by Priyanshi. Jhanak points out that just because Prachi supports Priyanshi’s dreams, it doesn’t mean she should be cast out. Ketki, offended, snaps at Jhanak for daring to lecture her about the law. Mahek sides with Jhanak, saying Ketki will never truly understand her. She admits it pains her to see how Ketki scolds Jhanak time and again. Sejal, joining the conversation, comments that her own experience after marriage taught her that a daughter becomes just a guest in her parents’ home. Mahek counters that she still considers herself a daughter of the house and knows her rights. If her family sees her as an outsider, she says, there’s little she can do to change that.
Trying to end the argument, Ketki tells them all to stop fighting and accuses Jhanak of manipulating everyone. But Jhanak calmly denies it. She questions why Ketki refuses to understand Priyanshi’s aspirations. Ketki insists her daughter won’t be allowed to go anywhere and can only follow her dreams after marriage.
Later, Priyanshi gathers the courage to tell Ketki that she has a program scheduled the day before the wedding and asks for permission to attend. Ketki is livid, questioning what kind of girl steps out right before her wedding. She even threatens to cancel the marriage if Priyanshi dares to leave. That’s when Priyanshi says it clearly—she doesn’t want to get married right now; her focus is on her studies. Ketki, stunned, turns to Prachi and demands she talk sense into her daughter. Sejal chimes in, warning that Priyanshi is heading down a wrong path. She even declares she doesn’t want Riddhi near Jhanak. But Jhanak speaks up, saying that Riddhi genuinely enjoys being with her, and that’s the reason the girl seeks her out.
Meanwhile, Arshi tells Anirudh that it’s enough for her to know Jhanak is safe. Anirudh asks her if she’s finished packing, and she confirms with a nod.
That night, Jhanak sits with Ahaan and gently asks him if he’ll miss her once she’s gone. She softly tells him how much she loves him and comforts him until he falls asleep. As she lays him in bed, Vihaan, who has overheard the conversation, steps in. He tells her that Pulkit supported Priyanshi today and that he just wants the wedding to go off without more issues. He questions whether Jhanak is the one creating problems and bluntly tells her not to involve herself in Priyanshi’s inter-school competition anymore. He also informs her that Anirudh and Arshi will be arriving soon.
Vihaan then turns the conversation toward her, confessing that he still knows nothing about her past. He says she’s free to leave whenever she wants, but he wishes to be her friend. Jhanak replies that he should consider telling his family the truth someday and encourages him to move on and think about starting a new chapter in life. She then asks him if he’s planning to marry. Vihaan flips the question back to her, wondering aloud if she knows whether Jhanak is still single. Jhanak brushes it off, refusing to talk about herself, and he says he’ll wait until she’s ready to open up. He presses her again, asking why she’s so unmoved by the news that Anirudh and Arshi are coming. He reveals that Anirudh told him he had seen Jhanak in Kolkata, but Jhanak dismisses it as a lie. This only deepens Vihaan’s suspicions—he begins to believe she’s hiding something from him.
