Vihaan is left stunned when Arshi drops a shocking truth—she tells him that Jhanak is in love with Anirudh, and what’s more, Anirudh has only ever loved Jhanak. As if that’s not enough, she reveals that Anirudh even married Jhanak in a temple, making the revelation even more explosive. Vihaan can hardly believe what he’s hearing. Just then, Anirudh steps in and tries to set the record straight. He admits that the temple marriage did happen but insists it wasn’t real—it was only done to protect Jhanak’s life in a critical moment. He accuses Arshi of twisting the facts and misleading everyone. Vihaan, still reeling from the revelation, demands to know why Anirudh never told him any of this earlier. Anirudh explains that he only found out about Jhanak and Vihaan’s marriage when he arrived and decided to stay quiet for the sake of peace. He also reveals something that adds a new layer to the mess—Arshi is actually Jhanak’s sister. Arshi instantly brushes it off, full of spite, throwing bitter insults at both Jhanak and her mother, Urvashi. Trying to keep things from escalating further, Anirudh apologizes to Vihaan for Arshi’s behavior and stands by Jhanak, assuring him that she would never intentionally hurt anyone.

Meanwhile, Sejal rushes to Ketki with troubling news—Priyanshi is missing. Panic sets in as Ketki and the others confront Jhanak, blaming her for the situation. Ketki is furious, especially since Priyanshi’s wedding is the next day and her haldi ceremony is supposed to happen today. Prachi, who once supported Jhanak, now looks at her with disappointment, while Mehek doesn’t hold back her mockery. Ketki lashes out, calling Jhanak a betrayer, and demands to know where Priyanshi is. Despite all the pressure, Jhanak stays composed and tells them that Priyanshi will return and isn’t doing anything wrong—but she refuses to reveal her location.
Ketki doesn’t back down and shifts the conversation to Jhanak’s marriage with Vihaan, demanding answers. Arshi jumps in, questioning whether the marriage even happened and challenges Vihaan to prove it if he truly loves Jhanak. She even dares him to marry Jhanak right away. Prachi, still bitter, throws more doubts by claiming that Jhanak never even went to America, hinting that she’s been dishonest all along. Sejal demands the truth from Jhanak, and finally, Jhanak breaks her silence—she admits that Priyanshi is with Pulkit and assures everyone that she’ll come back safe. Mehek tries to cover for her, saying that Priyanshi left for a competition, but Ketki refuses to believe it.
The tension only grows as Ketki begins to question Pulkit’s involvement and intentions. Prachi denies having any role in Priyanshi leaving with him. Mehek calls her out, accusing her of suddenly changing her stance, but Ketki is too focused on Jhanak to listen. Ketki turns to Jhanak again, accusing her of betrayal and dishonesty, clearly furious over everything that’s happened. She delivers an ultimatum—if Vihaan doesn’t marry Jhanak in front of everyone and prove their relationship, Jhanak will have no place in their home. Despite the chaos, Jhanak stands her ground and firmly tells them that she entered the house with pure intentions, not to deceive or divide the family.
The village head arrives with others and directly questions Vihaan about his marriage certificate, challenging his relationship with Jhanak. Vihaan, clearly irritated, lashes out at their intrusion, questioning why they’re so invested in his personal life. The village head stands firm, declaring he won’t allow anything that could damage the village’s reputation. Ketki steps in, admitting that something wrong has taken place and promises to correct it. Meanwhile, Arshi turns her attention to Anirudh, mocking him and implying he must be enjoying all the chaos. She insists the truth should come out, and people shouldn’t pretend to be something they’re not. Anirudh responds by blaming Arshi for making things harder for Jhanak and Vihaan, but Arshi is unbothered. She firmly states that she doesn’t believe Jhanak and Vihaan are truly married and insists that if there is to be a marriage, it must be done properly.
Ketki then directly asks Vihaan if he ever married Jhanak. Before he can answer, Jhanak, with great sadness, steps in and says that no marriage ever took place. This only fuels the village head’s anger, who asks how Vihaan could keep Jhanak in his home without marrying her. Vihaan explains that though he brought Jhanak home, they never shared a room, and she would be leaving soon. Ketki then turns on Jhanak, accusing her of being the source of all the trouble and hints that she might be in some sort of trouble with the police. She declares that they can manage Ahaan without Jhanak’s help. Just then, Priyanshi arrives and is immediately scolded by Ketki. Praveen Kumar steps in to defend her, explaining he picked her up from the competition where she won second place. Jhanak warmly praises Priyanshi’s success, offering encouragement.
Arshi takes this moment to remind Praveen Kumar that Jhanak is not their daughter-in-law, but Vihaan steps in and counters, saying she’s his sister. Arshi coldly denies ever accepting Jhanak as her sister. Hurt but composed, Jhanak responds that she too never saw Arshi as a sister. Turning to Ketki, she tells her that she came only for Ahaan’s sake and is now ready to leave. The village head threatens to involve the police, but Praveen Kumar stops him, asserting that Jhanak has done no wrong and has only looked after Ahaan with love. He asks Jhanak to return with him, but Priyanshi pleads with her to stay.
Vihaan then makes a bold declaration—Jhanak is his responsibility, his “Avni.” He tells her that if she agrees, he is ready to marry her right there and then. Jhanak is stunned. She tells Anirudh to stay out of her personal decisions. She admits that she will miss Ahaan deeply, but that doesn’t mean she’s prepared to marry Vihaan. She doesn’t want pity, and Vihaan assures her this isn’t about pity at all. He repeats his question: will she marry him?
Anirudh then asks Ketki what she would do if the two decide to marry. Ketki, albeit reluctantly, says she would have to accept it to protect the family’s dignity. Prachi steps in, pointing out that Jhanak can’t be expected to make such a big decision in front of everyone, and suggests they start the wedding preparations. Jhanak walks away, still unsure. Anirudh tells her that Vihaan would take care of her, while Arshi taunts her, asking if she’s still holding on to some hope. Jhanak replies vaguely, saying that answers will come in time, and leaves them behind.
The following day, Jhanak opens her heart to Ahaan, telling him she cannot go through with marrying Vihaan, which means she must leave. She writes a heartfelt letter to Vihaan, explaining her thoughts and feelings. As Mehek knocks on her door, urging her to come out, Jhanak quietly asks for a few more minutes. Meanwhile, Sejal notices how long she’s been inside and begins to worry. Prachi joins her, suspecting that Jhanak might be ill, especially since she hasn’t eaten since all this drama began. They rush to call Vihaan, and just as they’re about to force the door open, Jhanak finally emerges.
