Jhanak On Starlife Friday 23rd May 2025 Written Episode Update
Brij Bhushan opens up to Jhanak, expressing his wish for her to marry Aniruddh. But Jhanak immediately rejects the idea, saying such a thought is sinful and firmly reminds him that she is not like Srishti, who could ever do something like that. At that moment, Aniruddh steps in, making it clear that Srishti had lied to him and now this fight is his too. Brij Bhushan gently tells Jhanak there’s no harm in accepting Aniruddh’s support. Aniruddh stands firm, saying he wants to fight for the truth. He reveals that Shubhankar is backing Srishti in this battle.

Brij Bhushan gets upset that Srishti refuses to accept Jhanak as her daughter, but promises not to let her win. He says all he wants is a peaceful life for Jhanak. Aniruddh believes that proving Srishti’s involvement with Tejas in the attempt to harm Jhanak is the only way. He even suggests that Arshi might have had a role in it. Jhanak is stunned to hear that. Aniruddh urges Brij Bhushan to hire a lawyer quickly, insisting that only he is capable of handling Shubhankar. Brij Bhushan agrees.
Meanwhile, Dr. Anirban calls Shubhankar to complain about Mimi’s behavior. Shubhankar puts the call on speaker, and Tanuja jumps in, asking what’s going on. Dr. Anirban says Tanuja seems too busy to notice Mimi’s actions and proceeds to share his concerns. Shubhankar calmly says he’ll speak to Mimi and ends the call. Bipasha is shocked by the complaints. Shubhankar tells Tanuja not to interfere when he questions Mimi. Tanuja suggests finding a good match for Mimi instead. Arundhati expresses her frustration, wondering what more she has to hear at this age.
Back at Brij Bhushan’s house, he again says that Srishti has never treated Jhanak like her daughter. Jhanak firmly says her mother is Urvashi. Aniruddh reassures her that life can be happier once Srishti is out of it. Brij Bhushan decides to go speak with a lawyer and walks inside.
Jhanak brings up Arshi, worried that she will be hurt. Aniruddh tells her he already confessed to Arshi that he loves Jhanak. He asks Jhanak if she doesn’t trust his love and says he knows she loves him too. Jhanak says she doesn’t want to ruin anyone’s marriage. Aniruddh insists she isn’t responsible for anything and says he still holds responsibility for Arshi, but Jhanak is the one he loves. He believes there’s nothing wrong in loving her. Jhanak, emotionally torn, asks him to let her go.
But Aniruddh refuses to give up. He says even if he can’t be with her, he wants to be there whenever she feels broken. Jhanak tells him that if Arshi ever finds out, it will hurt her deeply. She finally admits she loves Aniruddh and knows he loves her too. Aniruddh becomes overwhelmed, telling her that even while being with Arshi, his heart always longed for Jhanak. He breaks down and hugs her tightly.
Elsewhere, Srishti visits Shubhankar at his office. She says she needs his support, and he assures her that he’s on her side. Srishti wants him to take up her case, claiming all the allegations against her are false. She even says she wants to prove Vinayak wrong and accuses Jhanak and Brij Bhushan of lying. Srishti hints that Urvashi might have been involved with both Brij Bhushan and Kul Bhushan. Shubhankar warns her to not hide anything from him if she wants to win the case. He directly asks if she knew Brij Bhushan. Srishti lies and says no. Deep down, Shubhankar suspects she is indeed Jhanak’s mother but doesn’t say anything. He tells her not to worry—they will win.
Choton, in a separate moment, proposes marriage to Mrinalini. She responds by saying she needs time to think about it.
Back with Shubhankar and Srishti, he warns her that any scandal involving her could bring disgrace to his family too. He asks if she has proof about her whereabouts during the past year. Srishti claims she was attending a workshop with Guruji and adds that Urvashi was working there at the time. When asked about Jhanak’s disappearance, Srishti insists she only spoke to Tejas once and had simply requested him to take Jhanak so Arshi could safely be with Aniruddh. Now, she says, she wants revenge.
