Jhanak On Starlife Friday 25th July 2025 Written Episode Update
The episode begins with Mahek defending Jhanak and scolding Sejal for speaking ill of her. Ketki, however, agrees with Sejal, saying that things have gone awry since Jhanak’s arrival. While she clarifies she doesn’t suspect Jhanak of any criminal activity, she remarks that Jhanak hasn’t exactly proven to be a symbol of good luck for their household. She even expresses concern that Vihaan might suffer because of her. Anirudh stands up for Jhanak, assuring Ketki that one day she’ll be proud of her. When Sejal questions his certainty, Anirudh admits he can’t predict the future, but he believes Vihaan has chosen the right life partner. Meanwhile, Prachi suggests that Anirudh take some kheer for Arshi, but Anirudh questions the need. Jhanak gently advises him to care for Arshi, especially now that she needs proper nourishment. Ketki mocks the gesture, telling him to take sweets for his own family. Anirudh thanks Jhanak, but she humbly says it’s nothing—Arshi is, after all, expecting a child.

Elsewhere, Shubh vents his frustration at Bipasha and Lal for never stepping up when needed. The discussion turns to Mimi’s wedding, and Dadi asks Lal to contribute financially. Lal declines, claiming financial strain, prompting Anjana to accuse him of shirking his duties despite having a good income. Bipasha shifts the responsibility to Anirudh, calling him Mimi’s real brother. Arshi supports this and offers her own savings for the wedding. Bablu steps forward, promising to handle the expenses with his own funds, but Shubh insists that it is his obligation and walks away in anger. Later, Vihaan invites Anirudh to visit with his family once Arshi gives birth. Anirudh agrees to try, and Jhanak encourages him to bring Arshi along. Ketki extends the invitation to Ahaan’s first birthday and casually announces plans to fix Priyanshi’s marriage soon. When Jhanak questions whether Priyanshi’s consent was considered, Ketki says she’s already selected a groom. Jhanak speaks up for Priyanshi’s wish to continue her studies, but Ketki harshly shuts her down, insisting her decision is final. Mahek supports Jhanak, only to be scolded as well. Praveen Kumar tries to reason with Ketki, saying there’s nothing wrong with girls pursuing education, but Ketki overrides him.
Vihaan steps in to calm everyone down, suggesting they talk about it later. Anirudh urges Ketki to think differently, pointing out that today’s girls should be independent before marriage. Ketki disagrees, saying goals can be pursued after marriage too. Before Anirudh leaves, she tells Jhanak to prepare laddus and kheer for him. Meanwhile, Bipasha and Lal quiz Arshi about her conversation with Anirudh. Lal doubts whether Anirudh is actually in Gujarat, and Bipasha hints that the distance between Gujarat and Mumbai isn’t so vast—implying Arshi should stay alert regarding Anirudh and Jhanak. Later, Jhanak brings laddus to Anirudh’s room. He’s surprised and questions her for coming. Feeling uneasy, she asks if she did something wrong. Anirudh reassures her, saying he doesn’t want her married life to suffer and reminds her she’s already married a stranger. Jhanak quietly admits that marriage feels meaningless in her life. Elsewhere, Anjana confronts Choton for cancelling his wedding. He defends his decision, saying Mrinalini never stood up to her father, and he worries she might think like him in the future. Anjana warns that Mrinalini might never forgive him. Bipasha supports Choton, arguing that he made the right call, while Dadi scolds her for interfering—but Bipasha stands her ground.
In private, Jhanak begs Anirudh not to reveal her truth to Vihaan. Anirudh confesses he told Vihaan that he knows her, but didn’t say more. Jhanak says all she wants is peace and pleads with Anirudh not to return again.
