Jhanak On Starlife Monday 14th July 2025 Written Episode Update
The episode opens with Prachi and Sejal bringing Jhanak downstairs for her formal introduction. Ketki presents her to Pandit ji and the guests, pointedly mentioning that Jhanak prepared the entire meal. However, she warns everyone that the food may not be up to standard because Jhanak is from abroad. She urges them to taste the food and share their honest opinions. Vihaan’s father steps in, telling Ketki to stop worrying and let the guests enjoy the meal. Pandit ji then asks about the muh dikhai ceremony, and Vihaan’s father informs him it will take place the following day. Meanwhile, Ketki scolds Jhanak for not serving quickly enough, prompting her to begin moving through the room with dishes in hand.

As the guests begin eating, Ketki continues her insults, saying she had made backup food just in case Jhanak’s turned out inedible. She criticizes her in front of everyone, calling her an unfit wife for Vihaan. But to Ketki’s surprise, Pandit ji praises the meal, saying it tastes just like his late mother’s cooking—better than anything Ketki could ever make. The room falls silent. Jhanak humbly says she could never match Ketki’s skills, but Pandit ji insists that her cooking is blessed. Other guests, including Mehek’s husband Praveen, echo his praise. Prachi encourages Jhanak to continue serving the rest of the food, but Ketki insists on doing it alone. Praveen, however, supports Mehek helping Jhanak, and the two women proceed together. Elsewhere, Aditya talks to Anirudh over the phone and shares his belief that Jhanak is still alive. Anirudh asks why she hasn’t reached out, and Aditya suggests she might be trapped in a situation. Just then, Arshi walks in, prompting Anirudh to quickly end the call. Arshi gently asks if there’s any news about Jhanak, insisting she’s genuinely concerned. She then reveals her pregnancy, saying she holds no ill will toward anyone. Arshi admits she still loves Anirudh and can’t bear to see him emotionally burdened. She knows he’s staying with her more out of duty than love.
Back at the table, Vihaan’s father defends his son’s decision to marry Jhanak, saying she will rise to the occasion and make a wonderful daughter-in-law. Bhavesh agrees, but Hitesh argues that cooking isn’t enough—Jhanak must also be competent in their milk business. Prachi tries to reassure everyone that Jhanak will learn in time, but Ketki scoffs, questioning how long it will take. Vihaan finally intervenes, asking Ketki to give Jhanak a fair chance. He adds that one day, she might even feel proud of her. Though begrudgingly, Ketki agrees. Pandit ji then commends Vihaan for choosing such a capable wife and asks Jhanak to bring out the sweets. As soon as they’re served, the guests are full of praise again, which only worsens Ketki’s irritation.
Meanwhile, Arshi has a quiet moment with Anirudh. She tells him she wants to stay happy for the baby’s sake but feels emotionally drained. She acknowledges his feelings for Jhanak, then bravely asks whether he’s capable of loving two people at once. Anirudh doesn’t respond, instead urging her to rest.
Later, Vihaan tells Akshar that he’s unsure how Jhanak will respond to what he’s about to tell her. Akshar tries to calm him, saying she likely won’t overreact. In the kitchen, Prachi approaches Jhanak and compliments her for handling everything so well. Jhanak brings up Priyanshi’s age and expresses her discomfort about her upcoming marriage. Prachi admits that while Ketki has already decided everything, she hopes Jhanak will step in. She pleads for her help and promises to be indebted if she stops the wedding. Jhanak asks her to trust that she’ll try her best.
Later, Jhanak shares her overwhelmed feelings with Vihaan. He assures her that he’ll soon explain everything—including his family’s behavior and their past with Avni. He tells her she can stay in their room with Ahaan and then mentions that he’s invited his college friend Anirudh to her muh dikhai ceremony. Jhanak freezes in shock at the name. After Vihaan leaves, Jhanak looks up toward the heavens, silently praying for strength.
