Anirudh and Arshi get into a heated argument as the episode opens. He tells her the truth she doesn’t want to hear—he loves Jhanak. He admits that while he never meant to hurt her, he can’t keep hiding how he feels. His life, he says, is split in two, and he’s failed to manage it. He reminds Arshi that while she is his weakness, Jhanak holds his heart. Arshi, feeling betrayed and furious, tells him to never go near Jhanak again. But Anirudh stays firm. He says that no matter what, he will always be there for Jhanak, especially when she’s in trouble. Meanwhile, Jhanak, who overhears their conversation, is left heartbroken. She quietly goes to her room, packs her things, and prepares to leave, haunted by Brij’s harsh words.

The next morning, Anjana asks Anirudh where Jhanak is, but he doesn’t know. Lal and Bipasha arrive and start provoking both Anjana and Anirudh with taunts. Anjana goes to check on Jhanak and returns, worried—her room is empty. Anirudh asks her to look around the house, maybe the terrace. But Anjana has already looked—Jhanak is nowhere to be found. Just then, Tanuja and Shubh enter, wondering why breakfast isn’t ready. Anjana is too distracted to respond properly, so Anirudh covers for her. He suggests that maybe Jhanak went to the temple, trying to convince himself she wouldn’t just leave. But when Anjana tells him that Jhanak’s belongings are gone, the truth hits. Anirudh rushes to check, and Anjana finds a letter from Jhanak, confirming that she’s left the house. She reads it aloud to him, and his face falls.
Arshi arrives and learns what’s happened. Everyone informs her about Jhanak’s sudden departure, and Anirudh, shaken to the core, announces he’s going to find her. Arshi’s temper explodes. She warns him—if he steps out to go after Jhanak, their relationship is over. Anirudh replies calmly but firmly that he’s already said what needed to be said. He’s leaving this house. Shubh scolds him, but Anirudh ignores him. Arshi asks him what exactly he wants. He asks in return if she can give him what he wants, clearly knowing the answer. He says he doesn’t want to fight anymore—he just wants to go.
Arshi turns her anger toward Anjana, accusing her of encouraging Anirudh. But Anirudh steps in, telling Arshi not to speak to his mother like that. He says again—he has to leave. Arshi tries to stop him, but he’s made up his mind. She shoves him in frustration, asking why he’s ruining everything. Anirudh says he’s already ruined her life and doesn’t want to keep hurting her. It’s better to end things now. Arshi breaks down in tears, but he’s emotionally drained. He shouts that he can’t take it anymore—the endless drama, the constant pressure. His life is full of stress and no peace.
Bipasha blames him, saying it’s his own actions that created this mess. Lal questions him—he married Arshi, yet now he wants to run after Jhanak? That’s when Anirudh drops a truth no one expected. He says their marriage was never real. They didn’t take the seven sacred rounds, and in his heart, they aren’t husband and wife. Arshi is shocked and screams in disbelief, while Anirudh walks out, leaving her crying and broken.
Outside, Anirudh breaks down thinking about Jhanak. Through his tears, he confesses that he has made his choice. He doesn’t want a life without her. He rushes to the airport and finds her just in time. He stops her and asks where she’s going. He wonders if she overheard his conversation with Arshi. Jhanak looks away and says she didn’t hear anything important. He tries to explain himself but she stops him, reminding him that Arshi is still part of his life. Anirudh tells her he knows exactly what his relationship with Arshi is—and what his relationship with Jhanak truly means.
He opens his heart and tells her he wants to spend his life with her. She finally admits she loves him too, but says she’s still choosing to leave. Anirudh pleads with her to stay, telling her that her absence will only deepen his pain. But she asks what will happen to Arshi. He says again, with full honesty, that he doesn’t love Arshi—he never has. His heart belongs to Jhanak. She shakes her head, insisting that this can’t work, but he begs her to see the truth. He doesn’t want to live a frustrated life anymore. He wants love. He wants her.
