The episode begins with Arshi telling everyone that they are not related to Nutan. She says even Shrishti was angry with Guru ji and didn’t want to talk to him. But Guru ji didn’t even know about Nutan. Anirudh replies that if that’s true, then the problem is solved. He asks why Arshi’s mother is still angry with him and tells her to stop making excuses. He says they were there too, so there’s no point in discussing someone else’s family. Arshi and Anirudh start arguing. Shubh tries to stop them and says don’t compare Arshi with Jhanak. Anirudh says he was only telling her the truth. Arshi reminds him that she was the one who introduced him to Jhanak first. Then Tanuja asks Anirudh if he really gave Nutan a lift.
Anirudh teases Lal and Bipasha and says he has a soft spot for Nutan because she looks like Jhanak. Dadi comes in and asks what is going on. She says Anirudh is talking a lot today and it’s a good sign because he is recovering. Arshi agrees but says the situation hasn’t changed. Dadi tells Anirudh to move on and wishes for a new member to come into the house. She complains that Lal and Bipasha don’t listen to her and asks Anirudh to fulfill her wish. Tanuja agrees. Anirudh says he will go. Shubh tells him to keep Arshi happy. Anirudh says he can’t promise anything but asks Arshi to trust him. He says it is a normal matter and asks her not to make a big scene. Everyone supports Arshi. Then Anirudh reveals that Nutan is actually Jhanak’s sister.
Meanwhile, Rumi, Mimi, and their friends are at a café. Mimi spots Dr. Sen and asks her friends to sing loudly. She also asks the waiter to get the bill from Dr. Sen. Rumi wonders what if he refuses to pay. Mimi confidently says she will make him pay as revenge. She even lies about having a fiancé. The friends place their order, and Mimi asks the waiter to give the bill to Dr. Sen.
The waiter says he knows Dr. Sen; he’s a regular customer. Mimi tricks the waiter. Back home, Appu talks sadly to a doll named Jhanak. Anirudh cries alone in his room, thinking about Jhanak. Appu tells the doll that Anirudh needs to hold Jhanak’s hand and tell her he wants to live with her. Anirudh says he can’t share his feelings and wonders what is stopping him. Appu overhears a song on the radio and says she will unite Anirudh and Jhanak so their love story won’t end in sadness. She decides to go meet Anuradha.
At the café, Mimi and her friends enjoy their food. Dr. Sen talks with his friend Raghav. Raghav asks Dr. Sen when he will marry, but Dr. Sen says he doesn’t like anyone right now and will marry only if someone special comes along. Raghav leaves, and Dr. Sen orders a sandwich. Mimi says things will get interesting now. Rumi tells Mimi to stop acting and says she understands what is going on. Dr. Sen and Raghav eat the sandwich, and Mimi waits to say thanks once Dr. Sen pays the bill.
Arshi is upset and says how much more she will be hurt. She feels Anirudh doesn’t value her love anymore. Just then, Shrishti calls and says she can’t stay in the house anymore because she is very upset. Kajal visits the house to meet Lalon and Anuradha. Appu tries to call Anuradha but Lalon arrives first. Kajal tells Lalon she is in trouble but doesn’t want to say more there. Lalon asks if it is about her affair and says he can’t do anything. Kajal asks for his help to call her boyfriend and tell him they are together. Lalon is confused and Kajal tries to explain, but Appu arrives and sees Kajal holding Lalon’s hand. She gets angry.
Shrishti asks what happened and offers to help. Arshi says she wants to start fresh with someone new. Shrishti says now is not the time. Arshi explains that her marriage is not registered and she followed Shrishti’s advice to get close to Anirudh, hoping he would forget Jhanak. But he misses Jhanak a lot and doesn’t love her. She says she can’t force him to stay with her. Shrishti tells her that she needs to try harder, compromise, and not leave the house. She encourages Arshi to talk to Anirudh and win him back. Arshi asks if she can do it. Shrishti reassures her that she can and promises to support her. Arshi wipes her tears and goes to her room.
Appu sends Kajal away. Kajal says she wants Lalon’s help to threaten her boyfriend who is troubling her. Appu says Kajal is trying to make Lalon a hero, and that’s fine. She tries to convince Lalon to help Kajal, but he refuses. Appu says she will try to convince him, but Lalon insists he cannot help.
Later, Arshi approaches Anirudh and holds him. Anirudh says he thought it was Jhanak who came. When he sees Arshi, she tries to convince him. She tells him Nutan is Jhanak’s cousin and that she is also Jhanak’s cousin. She reminds him that he used to love her a lot before and asks why not now. Anirudh says she is perfect but… Arshi says they are perfect for each other and should start again. Anirudh says no, time has moved on.
