The episode begins with Arshi asking Anirudh if he is feeling unwell. He denies it, but she confronts him about visiting Nutan and says she’s leaving for her mother’s house. Arshi tells him that she didn’t want things to come to this, but she has already packed her bags and made up her mind. Anirudh pleads with her not to go, saying that everyone is leaving him and he can’t handle the loneliness anymore. He admits he has wronged her but begs her to stay, saying he feels like he’s sinking into darkness. Arshi replies that he’s not been taking care of his health and urges him to rest. He continues asking her to stay.
Arshi then accuses him of using Jhanak’s death and Nutan’s indifference as reasons to ask her to stay. Anirudh reflects on how complicated his life has become, while Arshi blames him for ruining her own life because of his past with Jhanak. She says Jhanak destroyed her happiness and now he is running after someone who looks like her. She accuses him of being lowly and says he never truly loved Jhanak. Anirudh admits he went to see if the girl really resembled Jhanak, as her body was never found. Arshi speculates that maybe someone dumped Jhanak’s body in the river and labels her as immoral.
Anirudh gets angry and tells Arshi to stop disrespecting Jhanak. Arshi argues that Jhanak knowingly stayed with Anirudh despite knowing about their engagement. She insists on leaving. He again pleads with her to stay, saying he feels lonely. She notices he has a fever and tells him to rest, adding that the family would be worried if they found out. He agrees. She then questions if his sudden desire to go abroad is because Jhanak is no longer alive. He says he had tried even before. They argue, and he promises they won’t talk about Jhanak again. But Arshi is not convinced, believing that he’ll leave her again if Nutan shows interest in him.
She tells him he only truly loves Jhanak, not her, and questions why he wants her to stay. He admits he can’t explain it, that love doesn’t always stay with one person. He reminds her that he once loved her, but she walked away. He feels powerless in front of her. Arshi retorts, asking if he expects her to live with him just like that. He tells her he’s feeling very unwell and won’t force her—she can do what she thinks is right. He heads to bed.
Arshi thinks to herself that Shrishti had told her to stay with Anirudh, and she’s determined to follow that advice. She vows to erase Jhanak’s presence from his life. Later, she visits Shrishti. When she asks how she is, Shrishti says she’s fine and informs her that Nutan is in the city with her father. Arshi confirms it. Shrishti, clearly agitated, says she doesn’t want that girl to win the award at the academy and reminds Arshi she must register. Arshi says she’s feeling mentally drained, but Shrishti insists. She tells Arshi to go back to Anirudh.
Arshi questions whether she deserves to stay unhappy forever and whether she can’t have someone better in life or live independently. Shrishti scolds her, claiming concern. But deep down, she’s worried because Brij is back and might seek revenge. She has discovered that Brij never married and that Jhanak is alive. Now, she wants to convince everyone that Jhanak is dead and that Nutan is Brij’s daughter.
Shrishti shocks Arshi by telling her to get pregnant with Anirudh’s child. Arshi is taken aback, saying they’ve never even been intimate. Shrishti tells her to take control of Anirudh and even pretend to be like Jhanak if needed. Arshi refuses and says Shrishti sounds unstable. But Shrishti insists she should at least fake a pregnancy. Arshi demands to know the reason behind all this. Shrishti explains it’s to keep Nutan out of Anirudh’s life. If Arshi gets pregnant, he’ll feel tied down. Arshi disagrees, saying even having a child doesn’t stop people from cheating.
Shrishti tells Arshi she’s only trying to help and recalls her own past failures. She suddenly yells that she won’t lose. Arshi gets worried and asks what happened, but Shrishti dismisses it and goes to cook for her. Arshi is left disturbed by her words.
Meanwhile, Brij and Jhanak are traveling together and talking about Shrishti. Brij tells her that he regrets not being there for her and Urvashi during their difficult times. Jhanak assures him that he couldn’t have known. She wishes her mother had told her the truth earlier.
Back at home, Shrishti meets Vinayak. She tells him the police let her go due to lack of evidence. Vinayak says he can’t judge her then. He confesses that despite her flaws, he still loves her and reminds her of their long marriage. She says their anniversary is approaching, and he says he can’t celebrate alone. She had hoped for a surprise, but he reminds her that she always cancels plans due to work. She says being a celebrity comes with demands. He replies that in marriage, status shouldn’t matter and asks if she truly wants to celebrate this time.
Brij tells Jhanak that Urvashi made big sacrifices for her, and she breaks down in tears. She says her mother suffered so much for her. They both wish Urvashi were still with them.
