Jhanak On Starlife Saturday 21st June 2025 Written Episode Update
The episode begins with Arshi confronting Jhanak, asking her to stop creating unnecessary drama. She tells Jhanak that she’s not taking Anirudh with her and questions what Jhanak is trying to prove—whether she’s trying to claim some sort of right over him or show that he belongs to her. Jhanak tries to explain that her reason isn’t what Arshi thinks, but Arshi cuts her off. She says there’s no need for anyone to accompany her and that she doesn’t need protection. She walks away, leaving tension behind. Just then, Lal starts insulting Jhanak, which makes Anirudh furious. Shubh gets involved, and Bipasha questions if Jhanak is blackmailing Anirudh somehow. Anirudh firmly denies it. But Shubh and Tanuja are not convinced. They try to dig deeper, asking if there’s something Anirudh is hiding. Anirudh says simply that Arshi is still someone he has a responsibility toward—she’s a woman leaving home alone, and it’s only right that he drops her and comes back.

Jhanak watches him with quiet concern and gently tells him to take care of himself. He replies that he will—and reminds her to take care too. He then leaves with Arshi. During the drive, Anirudh tells Arshi that he’s caught in a difficult situation. He says that while he does love Jhanak, he also has a sense of duty toward Arshi. Arshi responds coldly, saying she doesn’t need his concern. She knows he loves Jhanak and doesn’t want him pretending otherwise. Anirudh remains silent, thinking to himself that he can’t tell her everything just yet.
They reach Arshi’s home, where the atmosphere is heavy. Shrishti, visibly upset, questions if Arshi really deserves to go through all this. But Arshi, holding back her tears, defends Anirudh. She tells her mother that Anirudh has already made it clear—he wants to marry Jhanak and be with her. She says they can’t force him to stay in a relationship he doesn’t want, and she has accepted it. Anirudh tries to offer her some comfort, but Shrishti lashes out at him, calling him shameless and saying he’ll never find happiness after what he’s done. Arshi begs her mother to calm down. She says there’s no point in clinging to a relationship where one person doesn’t want to stay. She reminds her that Anirudh’s happiness should matter too.
Vinayak, who had once supported Anirudh, now expresses disappointment. He says that while he had always believed in him, this step has hurt many people. He says Anirudh will realize the consequences someday. Anirudh listens quietly and replies that he already feels the weight of his choices, but he’s stuck and has no other way out. Shrishti then asks why he even wants to marry Jhanak. Arshi steps in again and tells her mother to stop—it’s enough. She says Anirudh can live however he wants; she doesn’t want to keep fighting over something that’s already broken.
Meanwhile, at the Bose house, Tanuja, Bipasha, and Lal speak bitterly against Jhanak. They’re frustrated and angry and start plotting ways to throw her out of the house before Anirudh returns. Back at Arshi’s home, Vinayak continues to advise Anirudh. Arshi reveals a painful truth—she and Anirudh were never officially married. Their relationship wasn’t registered, and technically, they were just living together. She says Anirudh never truly believed in the marriage, so she can’t really stop him. Shrishti is shocked. She asks if Anirudh really said that. Arshi says yes and tells her mother to accept it. She says she now sees the truth clearly—that the betrayal was necessary for her to move forward.
Anirudh looks heartbroken. He tells them he never meant to hurt anyone and apologizes again. Arshi says he doesn’t need to apologize—she’ll live with the humiliation if it means peace for him. But she warns him that it won’t be easy. Loving someone is one thing—making a relationship work is another. Shrishti doesn’t want to hear about Jhanak anymore, but Arshi brings her name up again, blaming her for the collapse of her life. Vinayak comforts Arshi, telling her they’ll stand by her no matter what. He hopes Shrishti will also get justice for her own case, but insists Arshi didn’t deserve this kind of heartbreak.
Anirudh stands firm, saying he never wanted to hurt Arshi but he has no choice now. He admits that he loves Jhanak. Everyone is stunned. Lal says it’s impossible—when they tried to separate Anirudh and Jhanak before, he had risked his life to bring her back. Tanuja is overwhelmed. Bipasha and Lal try to console her. Anirudh speaks up again, saying Jhanak never deserved the hatred and humiliation she received from them. Shrishti accuses him of using marriage just to give her respect. Arshi tries to stop her mother, but Anirudh agrees that Jhanak deserves respect. He says he’s ready to bear any punishment for his choices.
Arshi, with tears in her eyes, tells him to live his life as he wants. She says she’ll even attend his wedding if he invites her. She adds that Jhanak probably didn’t want him to visit because she feared they might try to change his mind. Anirudh denies it. He says Jhanak’s reason was different. Arshi cuts him off and tells him to leave. He walks away quietly.
The next morning, Anirudh gets a call from Aditya, who tells him they have to take action quickly. He says someone close to Kul has spoken up—they plan to harm Jhanak, just like they murdered their father. He warns that Jhanak is not safe. Anirudh panics and asks what they should do. Aditya says they must keep her close—possibly even marry her publicly so that the threat diminishes. He says if Kul’s people know Jhanak is Anirudh’s wife, they might not touch her out of fear that she could file a case. Anirudh agrees but admits he’s scared. He says injustice was done to Jhanak, and she must fight for justice. Unbeknownst to him, Jhanak overhears the conversation and quietly processes everything.
