In a charged moment, Shrishti asks Shubh for help and even insists on paying him. She offers to sell her jewellery and assets, but Shubh refuses. He reminds her that they are relatives and says he doesn’t charge family or friends. He assures her that he will handle everything himself. He’s confident that Anirudh will understand Jhanak’s truth soon. Shrishti agrees and says she wants Anirudh and Arshi to begin a new life together. She plans to ruin Jhanak’s image in front of everyone and believes Anirudh is innocent. She says once Jhanak’s real face is exposed, Anirudh will start hating her. Shubh promises to deal with everything quickly and expose Jhanak. Shrishti leaves with a smile, confident in her plan.
Meanwhile, Choton asks Mrinalini to come home. She hesitates, wondering what she would say about suddenly wanting marriage. Choton says she just needs to give her consent or else he might have to kidnap her, jokingly of course. Mrinalini feels it’s not the right time to talk about their marriage, considering Jhanak’s situation. Choton says whether Jhanak stays in the house or not, the fact that she is alive is what matters. Mrinalini adds that Jhanak and Anirudh’s lives are on different paths, and no one knows if they will ever be together again. Choton reminds her that Bablu and Anjana love Jhanak like a daughter, and everyone in the family has a soft spot for her.
Their conversation turns serious as they reflect on Arshi’s presence in Anirudh’s life. Mrinalini says every person has a past, and sometimes, when that past stays present, it becomes hard to find happiness. Arshi, in her view, is not wrong to want Jhanak out of the picture. No girl would be comfortable with another woman in her lover’s life. Choton says Jhanak has a pure heart, and that’s why everyone loves her. Mrinalini agrees but also feels helpless.
She says things are complicated, and they can’t force anything. Choton brings the talk back to their own relationship, joking that no one is thinking about his marriage. Mrinalini laughs. He tells her that he genuinely wants to marry her. He holds her hand, gives her a rose, and says they are meant to spend their lives together. She smiles, accepts the rose, and they leave happily, hand in hand, ready to start a new chapter.
Morning arrives and the court hearing begins. Shrishti and her supporters arrive and face people’s judgmental looks and comments. Shubh tells Shrishti to ignore the remarks. Soon, Anirudh, Jhanak, and Brij arrive. Arshi watches them from a distance. Their lawyer reassures Brij and Jhanak. Meanwhile, the crowd continues to talk about the situation, judging Anirudh for supporting Jhanak. Arshi walks up to him and scolds him for standing by Jhanak. Anirudh stands his ground and tells her he already made it clear that he will support Jhanak in her fight. Arshi lashes out at Jhanak, who doesn’t hold back this time.
Jhanak fiercely defends herself. She reminds Arshi that Anirudh supports the truth and that’s his biggest strength. Arshi tells her to shut up, but Jhanak refuses to stay quiet. She says the days of being silent are over and tells Arshi to focus on her own life instead of meddling in hers. Shrishti tries to calm things down, asking Arshi to maintain her dignity. Anirudh sarcastically comments on their so-called standards. Arshi questions why Jhanak even deserves to be part of the conversation. Bipasha adds that Anirudh always sides against Arshi. Anirudh replies that if they don’t care, then they shouldn’t have come. Tanuja reminds him that his father is fighting the case, but Anirudh says that’s no reason for everyone to be present.
Brij jumps into the argument and scolds Shrishti and her family. Shrishti questions why Anirudh stopped Arshi from leaving the house. Anirudh replies that his fight is with Shrishti, not Arshi, and walks away. At home, Appu worries about what’s happening in court. She thinks about Kajal and wonders if Shrishti got punished. She decides to surprise Jhanak by showing up at the court. Anuradha and Jhimli arrive home just then. Appu quickly tells them she wasn’t planning to run away and asks Anuradha to take her to court.
In the courtroom, the hearing begins. Shubh and Depashish present the case to the judge. Depashish explains that the matter is complicated, involving two girls from the same family. He tries to simplify the matter using fictional names, but Shubh interrupts, saying truth matters more than imagination. Depashish urges him to use real names and facts. The courtroom atmosphere becomes tense.
