Jhanak On Starlife Saturday 26th July 2025 Written Episode Update
The episode opens with Jhanak firmly telling Anirudh to never return to Vihaan’s house. Anirudh, clearly puzzled, questions why she’s making such a request. He wonders if she really expects him to turn down Vihaan’s invitation just for her sake. Jhanak pleads with him, asking him to understand it as her personal request. Picking up on her hesitation, Anirudh asks if she’s afraid the past will come back to haunt her. Jhanak admits she doesn’t want her past to interfere with her present life. But Anirudh counters that hiding the truth from Vihaan won’t bring her happiness—she should tell him everything and be free of the weight. Jhanak snaps back, saying Anirudh doesn’t understand her relationship with Vihaan. Anirudh responds coldly, pointing out that Vihaan is still emotionally attached to Avni. Jhanak replies that she knows but doesn’t care. This isn’t her first time dealing with difficult situations. Frustrated, Anirudh asks if his love means nothing to her now that the truth has come out. Jhanak stuns him with a sharp reminder that Arshi is pregnant with his child—that’s not a small truth. She tells him to stay away from her and her life. Anirudh insists that fate might bring them together again, but Jhanak says she’ll pray they never meet.

Vihaan walks in midway through this tense moment and catches part of their exchange. To cover up, Jhanak tells him she was only there to deliver sweets and ghee to Anirudh. Vihaan, suspicious, asks if she came specifically to meet Anirudh because it seems like they already know each other. Anirudh tries to jump in and explain, but Jhanak avoids more questions and quickly leaves. Vihaan remains doubtful but tells Anirudh he’ll be waiting for him downstairs. Elsewhere, Choton and Bipasha are having a heated discussion about Mrinalini. Choton tries to defend her, saying she’s not a bad person and had stayed quiet out of respect for her father. Bipasha, however, is angry that Mrinalini didn’t take a stand for Choton, blaming her for letting him down. Anjana tries to calm things down and encourages Choton to talk things through with Mrinalini. But Choton lashes out, accusing Anjana of wanting Mrinalini as a daughter-in-law just because of her financial status. Anjana is hurt by this and denies any such motive. Bipasha steps in, warning Choton that Mrinalini might dominate him if they marry and advises him not to go through with it.
Meanwhile, Jhanak is teaching dance steps to Riddhi and Priyanshi. Mehek reveals that the girls are preparing for a performance at school behind Ketki’s back, since dancing isn’t allowed. She gives Jhanak a pair of ghungroos, lighting up her face with memories. Mehek compliments Priyanshi’s dancing, and Priyanshi jokes that she’d rather run away than be forced into marriage. Mehek lightly scolds her for the comment but reassures her that both she and Jhanak will be there to support her.
Mrinalini, on the other hand, confronts her father with sarcastic anger, thanking him for ruining her life. He justifies his actions, claiming he did everything for her good and that she wouldn’t have been happy with Choton’s family. Mrinalini accuses him of sabotaging her relationship, saying she had gone to finalize the wedding date only to have him interfere. He tells her that Choton was the one who called off the marriage, but Mrinalini insists her father manipulated the situation to push Choton away. She recalls how lovingly Anjana cared for her when she was ill and declares that it’s her father who is being selfish, not the Basus.
Back at home, Dadi advises Choton not to give up on Mrinalini, reminding him that she genuinely loved him. Anjana agrees and urges him again to talk to her. But Choton, still hurt, accuses Anjana of wanting Mrinalini only for her financial contribution to the household. Anjana denies it, saying he doesn’t understand Mrinalini’s feelings. Bipasha cuts in, asking Anjana to let Choton make his own decision, but Anjana snaps and tells Bipasha to stop interfering.
Just then, Prachi walks into Jhanak’s room and is shocked to see Priyanshi dancing. Outraged, she questions how her daughter-in-law could think of doing such a thing. Mehek tries to close the door to prevent things from escalating, but Jhanak, caught in the moment, straps on her ghungroos and begins to dance with emotion. Sejal watches secretly from the corridor and sees an opportunity to stir trouble. She hurries to Prachi and tattles about Jhanak dancing, fanning the flames even more.
Soon, Ketki finds out about the girls’ dance performance and is furious. She scolds Priyanshi and Riddhi for participating. Jhanak steps in to defend them, but Ketki turns her anger on her as well. Meanwhile, Vihaan continues to grow more suspicious about Jhanak’s past connection with Anirudh.
