The episode opens with Kavita standing in court, nervously defending herself. She insists she had no choice but to tell the shelter home she was visiting relatives. Debashish immediately catches her in the contradiction, accusing her of lying. Shubh tries to defend her, saying she’s someone he knows, but Debashish doesn’t back down and says she’s lying. Their argument escalates until the judge intervenes, instructing them to stop bickering and move on with the proceedings.
Debashish then turns his focus back to Kavita, questioning why she didn’t seek help from the same people she had approached before. She replies that she was tired, had gotten married, and wanted to avoid more drama. Debashish presses her harder, saying that back then, she had the strength and courage as Brij’s wife and could’ve taken a stand, especially when she saw Urvashi. He demands to know why she didn’t stop her. Shubh protests, questioning the relevance of all this, but Debashish silences him. Before he can continue further, the judge steps in again and calls for the next witness.
After thanking the judge, Shubh tells Kavita to sit with Jhanak. Jhanak, still distant and hurt, refuses to accept Kavita as her mother. Arshi speaks up, saying she wants her own mother to be cleared of all allegations, and decides to speak to Anirudh. When she finds him, she bitterly warns him that Jhanak will abandon him once she’s gotten what she wants.
Anirudh calmly shuts her down, saying she’s wrong to speak ill of Jhanak, who is alone and enduring a lot. He reminds Arshi to wait for the court’s judgment. Arshi warns him that one day, Jhanak might take everything from him, and by then, she herself will be long gone. Jhanak overhears this painful exchange. Anirudh admits his life is beyond his control now and turns his focus back to the court.
Debashish announces the next witness—Brijbhushan Bhanushali. Shubh quickly responds that he isn’t present. But to everyone’s shock, Brij stands up and declares his presence. The judge, surprised, mistakes him for Kulbhushan. Debashish clarifies that Brij is indeed present, and that Kul has never appeared in court. Brij takes the witness stand. In the audience, Vinayak questions Shrishti about her failure to recognize Brij earlier. She fumbles, saying she met him “yesterday” but then corrects herself to say it was a few days ago. Vinayak senses her discomfort but lets it pass, curious to see what Brij will say about Kavita.
Brij, now clean-shaven and calm, is asked by Debashish whether he recognizes Kavita. Brij casually replies that he might have seen her—he doesn’t remember all his students. The judge directly asks if he had any relationship with her. Brij denies it. Shubh accuses him of lying, but Brij remains composed, challenging Shubh to prove the truth. Debashish then shifts the focus to Shrishti. Brij openly admits it was foolish of him to trust her. When asked if Jhanak is his daughter with Shrishti, he confirms it. Debashish presents this as established evidence. But then he questions why Kavita claims Brij is her husband. Brij brushes it off, saying everyone has their logic.
Debashish now presses Brij about his sudden hairstyle change. Just then, Kul enters the courtroom. Debashish points out how identical Brij and Kul now look. Shrishti is shaken, unsure whether she spoke to Brij or Kul the day before. Brij explains that he changed his look deliberately to meet Shrishti unnoticed and obtain proof. He hands over a phone to Debashish, saying it contains a vital recording. With the judge’s permission, Debashish plays the audio, revealing Shrishti’s confession. The room falls silent. Jhanak glares at Shrishti with disbelief. Debashish reveals that the recording was made just the day before. Brij confirms he disguised himself as Kul to extract the truth from Shrishti—for his daughter’s sake. Shrishti immediately denies it’s her voice, but Debashish asserts that the court will verify the audio. He warns that lies in court will be punished. The courtroom erupts in applause. The judge adjourns for the day.
After court, Shrishti chases down Vinayak, desperate to explain herself. He’s cold and says he’s in a hurry. She pleads, asking if he thinks she betrayed him. He responds bitterly, saying she deceived him, and both Brij and Jhanak have exposed how wrong he was to trust her. She insists Brij tricked her and secretly recorded their conversation. Vinayak catches her slip—she just admitted it was her voice. When she accuses him of recording their conversation too, he tells her to check for herself and sarcastically remarks that lies only lead to more lies and, eventually, self-destruction. He walks away, leaving her frustrated and cornered.
Shrishti spots Brij and silently vows to destroy both him and Jhanak. Kul then walks up to Brij, acknowledging that he got the proof he wanted. Brij, fierce with determination, says those who tried to kill him won’t go unpunished. Kul warns him that he’ll need strong evidence, but Brij confidently says the lawyer will handle it. Kul sarcastically asks if Brij is scared, but Brij brushes it off. Jhanak interrupts, saying they shouldn’t waste any more time. Brij tells Kul they’ll meet again—the real game is just beginning. Kul warns that every game ends when someone breaks the rules.
Kul tries to make peace, suggesting Brij focus on Jhanak and her marriage while he leaves town. He offers to leave for Mumbai and tells Brij to open a dance school and live peacefully. Brij doesn’t give a straight answer. Jhanak firmly tells them not to worry about her marriage. Kul turns to her, mocking her attachment to Anirudh and advising her to find someone new since he already has someone in his life. Jhanak lashes out at him, just as Anirudh walks in. Kul smugly tells Anirudh to go home with his wife. Anirudh ignores him and tells Kul that he’s here to speak to Brij. Kul brushes it off, saying he just came to see his brother and doesn’t want trouble. Brij responds that all he and Jhanak want is justice, and soon, the truth will decide who ends up in jail. He leaves with Jhanak.
Anirudh asks what Kul meant by his remarks—was he threatening them? Jhanak says he warned her to stop chasing Anirudh and look elsewhere because he already belongs to someone. Anirudh calls Kul a fraud and tells Jhanak not to take his words seriously. But Jhanak is hurt and questions Anirudh’s stance. Anirudh warns her that Brij has to stay alert—this fight is dangerous and could destroy lives. Brij assures them he’s ready. Anirudh, still worried, says he just wants to keep them safe. Jhanak tells him that if anything goes wrong, even he won’t be spared. Anirudh urges her to let it go and walks off with her.
