The episode begins with tension filling the air as everyone refuses to give their fingerprints. They mock and accuse Jhanak, trying to pin the blame on her. But Aditya firmly defends her, telling them not to interfere with the investigation. He insists he has every right to know the truth and won’t be stopped. The inspector warns everyone to let him do his job, saying he has other ways to find what he needs. Bablu steps in, saying there’s no need to create a scene and they’ll cooperate. Anjana supports him and offers her fingerprints willingly, saying there’s nothing to fear because they’ve done nothing wrong.

Tanuja bristles at her words, but Anjana encourages her to stop being scared and just cooperate so the matter can be resolved. Bablu reminds them that they have no choice now—they must comply. Jhanak speaks up, making it clear that she isn’t to blame for any of this. She says when someone is trying to uncover the truth, they should be allowed to do it, and she has no issues with Aditya’s actions. In fact, she wants to believe no one in the family could do something so low.
Eventually, the family members start giving their fingerprints one by one. Bipasha hesitates and says she isn’t comfortable, but when Aditya urges her, she nervously agrees. Arshi argues with Aditya, but he remains calm, asking everyone to cooperate just a little longer. The inspector confirms he’ll let them know once the report is ready. Anirudh thanks him for handling the situation. Meanwhile, the Commissioner tells them Jhanak should have come, but Choton and Lalon explain that she’s still shaken. The Commissioner understands and assures them that the court case is progressing and Tejas will be caught soon.
The Commissioner then shares something more disturbing: a shooter had been hired to kill Brij. He questions them about Vinayak’s relationship with Jhanak. Choton says Vinayak is kind and shares a good bond with her. Since the call tracing hasn’t yielded results, the Commissioner says only Vinayak can access Shrishti’s call records. Lalon assures him they’ll manage it. Choton says it’s hard to watch Jhanak suffer like this. Lalon adds that Shrishti is dangerous—she has tried to kill Jhanak three times—and they won’t spare her. The Commissioner then delivers more heartbreaking news: Brij has passed away. The brothers are stunned but try to stay composed. As they prepare to leave, the Commissioner asks them to sit a little longer. He apologizes to Lalon for not making more progress in his father’s case, but assures him the investigation is being handled quietly. He confides that Shubh is likely involved and encourages Lalon to fight for what’s rightfully his. Lalon says he and Anuradha have no greed for money or revenge, but the Commissioner urges him not to give up on justice. Lalon nods quietly.
Back at the house, Bipasha is getting anxious. She tells Tanuja that Jhanak is after them and she’s already messaged Aditya in fear. Tanuja tries to reassure her, saying that giving fingerprints won’t prove anything directly. Arshi, feeling cornered, says Jhanak seems impossible to remove from Anirudh’s life and thinks she should finally leave. Tanuja begs her not to, saying they can’t let Jhanak win. Bipasha then reveals a wicked plan—she wants to destroy Appu’s dream of singing. She knows a man who runs a shady club and plans to set it up so Appu performs there, making it look like Jhanak sold her off for money. She mocks Appu, saying she can be lured with just a plate of food. Arshi is worried about how they’ll handle Anirudh. Bipasha says they must make sure he doesn’t find out or get involved. She promises to do something that will completely shake Jhanak.
Arshi warns her that if the fingerprint results point to her, things could go south. But Bipasha is confident she’ll lie her way out of it. She says no one can prove she sent those messages to Aditya. She then asks Arshi if she really wants to leave the house. They both agree the best way to break Anirudh’s trust in Jhanak is to go ahead with their plan. Bipasha says she’ll handle it all.
Later, Anirudh returns to his room, and Arshi confronts him. She demands that he stop going in two directions and make a clear decision. He gets frustrated and tells her that she doesn’t understand the pain Jhanak is in. He says supporting Jhanak is not a crime and he’s not doing anything wrong. Arshi says she’s tired of all the chaos and wants peace. She tells him to either be completely hers or leave her. Anirudh, unable to hold back, confesses that he loves Jhanak. Arshi is stunned. He explains that he took responsibility for Jhanak and won’t turn his back on her. Arshi tearfully tells him to let her go, but Anirudh asks where she’ll go, pointing out that her father isn’t well. Arshi insists her father will support her. Their fight grows more intense. Jhanak hears everything and is overcome with guilt. She decides that before morning, she will leave the house—and Anirudh—so he won’t have to suffer because of her anymore.
UPCOMING
Anirudh and Jhanak return home. Arshi announces that she can no longer live with Anirudh and is leaving the house. Anirudh loses patience and declares that he also wants freedom from her. He confesses in front of everyone that he loves Jhanak deeply and wants to marry her.
