In the courtroom, the tension rises as Shubh begins his statement, asking Debashish to take a seat. He recounts the background of Shrishti and Urvashi, explaining that they were cousins—raised almost like sisters. Shrishti belonged to a well-known and respected family and was a gifted dancer with no need for an introduction. When she moved to Delhi, she enrolled in a dance academy. Urvashi, on the other hand, lost her parents in a tragic accident and began living with her uncle’s family. Growing up with Shrishti, Urvashi shared her dreams and ambitions. She too wanted to dance and achieve everything Shrishti aimed for, so the two cousins joined the dance academy together.
Jhanak immediately raises her voice in protest. She objects strongly to Shubh’s statements, insisting that Urvashi was herself a brilliant dancer. She lashes out at Shubh, saying he knows nothing about her mother and has no right to insult her character, especially in a court of law. Debashish supports Jhanak’s objection and questions how Shubh can claim to know such personal details. Shubh replies that his information is based on circumstantial evidence and shifts the conversation with a taunt at Jhanak. Anirudh stands to defend Jhanak and Urvashi, asserting that everyone has the right to speak and be heard respectfully.
Shubh continues, saying both Shrishti and Urvashi trained under Guru Brij. While Shrishti remained focused on her dance, Urvashi allegedly developed an inappropriate closeness with Brij, crossing the lines of a student-teacher relationship. Meanwhile, in another part of the house, Anuradha comforts Appu and gets interrupted when Kajal arrives, visibly distressed. When questioned, Kajal confesses she’s in serious trouble. Appu blurts out that it’s about Kajal’s ex-boyfriend, prompting Anuradha to demand more details. Kajal nervously says she’ll explain later, but Appu goes ahead and shares everything with her.
Kajal finally opens up about her fear of Tappan, her ex-boyfriend, who was once jailed because of Lalon. Now that he’s out, he’s threatening her to be with him again. She pleads with Anuradha to help convince Lalon to protect her. Anuradha, sensing deeper emotions, gently asks if Kajal ever wanted to marry Lalon. Kajal denies it, though her silence and expressions speak volumes. Anuradha reminds her that Appu is now the daughter-in-law of the house and advises Kajal to stay away from Lalon emotionally. Kajal apologizes for the misunderstanding. Appu overhears this and breaks into tears, saying she misses Jhanak, then leaves. Anuradha grows concerned while Kajal quietly walks away.
Back in court, Shubh reveals more shocking claims. He says Shrishti eventually returned to Srinagar, met Vinayak, and married him. They had a daughter, Arshi. But Shrishti, still passionate about dance, decided to train again with Brij. To her shock, she found Urvashi already living with Brij as his wife. Jhanak shouts that it’s a complete lie, and Brij questions Shubh about his evidence. The judge demands that no one interrupt the proceedings. Debashish urges everyone to stay calm and says he’s paying close attention to Shubh’s claims. When asked for proof, Shubh challenges Debashish to do the same if he wants to disprove the story.
Anuradha continues her heart-to-heart with Kajal, questioning why she held Lalon’s hand. Kajal tearfully admits she only did it in desperation. Tappan wants to marry her, but she fears him. Anuradha presses further, trying to understand her true feelings about Lalon, but Kajal insists that she had no intention to marry him. Anuradha, with her years of wisdom, offers gentle advice and asks Kajal to stop chasing emotions that might create complications. Meanwhile, Appu is still upset, and Jhimli notices it. When asked why she’s crying, Appu just says she misses Jhanak.
In the courtroom again, Shubh drops another bombshell. He claims that Shrishti’s family was informed that Urvashi had given birth to a daughter—Jhanak. As per his narrative, Urvashi and her partner had frequent fights, leading her to return to Srinagar. Brij allegedly refused to accept the child. Urvashi’s reputation was ruined, and Jhanak was believed to be dead. Shubh says it later emerged that Shrishti was said to have two daughters—Arshi and Jhanak—raising the question: if Jhanak was declared dead, how is she alive now? He insists Shrishti only has one daughter, Arshi, and he plans to prove it by calling key witnesses.
Anirudh holds Jhanak’s hand supportively as Debashish stands and prepares to respond. The judge calls for a 10-minute break. Outside the courtroom, Choton expresses concern over how the case is unfolding. Mrinalini tries to calm him, stating that Shubh is clearly misleading the court. Lalon joins them and updates that both Brij and Jhanak are feeling anxious and Debashish has yet to make his full case. Choton expresses his desire for Jhanak to finally gain her rightful place. Mrinalini steps away briefly, while Bipasha informs everyone that she has called Arshi, though she isn’t sure if she’ll show up. Tanuja says she feels ashamed. Lal praises Shubh and confidently says Shrishti will win. Just then, Arshi enters. Tanuja apologizes, but Arshi curtly asks why she was called. Bipasha tells her that everything will be settled once the verdict is out and they’ll finally be rid of Jhanak. Arshi firmly disagrees and says that’s not going to happen. Tanuja threatens to speak with Shubh and disown Anirudh. But Arshi insists her priority is to clear her mother’s name. She storms out after arguing with Bipasha, who still believes Shubh will save the day for Shrishti.
As court resumes, Debashish presents his argument. He says Urvashi may have hidden the truth from Jhanak, but that doesn’t make her wrong. In life, there are people like Shrishti and people like Urvashi. The court must decide which one was right. Urvashi knew Shrishti’s secret but didn’t tell Jhanak. She was emotionally fragile but always protected her daughter. Despite the rumors, she gave Jhanak a stable upbringing. Debashish then makes a startling claim—there are two Brijbhushans. They are twin brothers, both present in court. He accuses Shrishti of manipulating this fact, saying she used the fake Brij while the real one was made to disappear. He says he has evidence that Shrishti helped Brij’s twin, Kul.
Shubh mocks this, calling it the plot of a cheap film. Debashish holds firm and promises to present proof. He alleges that Brij truly loved Shrishti and married her. But Shrishti later called marriage meaningless. She still married him to appease him, though she never told her family. Shrishti calls it a lie, but Debashish insists he has evidence. When the judge asks how he will prove all this, Debashish says a witness will provide every piece of proof. He claims that Shrishti later married Vinayak and had Arshi but still wanted to dance. She returned to Brij and, upon seeing Urvashi there, continued deceiving both men. Eventually, she gave birth to another child—Jhanak—and hid this from Vinayak.
