Jhanak On Starlife Sunday 27th July 2025 Written Episode Update
The episode opens with Jhanak dancing joyfully, while Prachi worries about what would happen if Ketki saw them. Sejal spots the scene and quickly slips away. Hearing the music, Vihaan assumes Priyanshi and Riddhi are dancing in his room and remembers Anirudh once mentioning Jhanak’s dancing talent. Curious, he enters and is surprised—but secretly pleased—to find Jhanak dancing. When she notices him, she immediately stops, and Prachi quickly explains that the girls had only wanted to learn some dance steps from Jhanak. Mahek then asks Vihaan if he already knew Jhanak could dance, to which he replies that he did. Priyanshi excitedly brings up her school dance performance, but Vihaan discourages her, saying Ketki would be furious if she learned to dance. Priyanshi, however, remains firm, declaring her love for it. Mahek tells Vihaan that this might be Priyanshi’s final performance and asks for his support. Meanwhile, Bipasha tries to convince Choton not to change his mind about marrying Mrinalini, fearing she’ll dominate the household. Arundati demands Choton apologize to Mrinalini for his mistakes, while Anjana makes it clear she can’t forgive him. Choton silently battles his own inner turmoil.

Vihaan insists that they need Ketki’s permission before allowing Priyanshi to dance, but Mahek assures him that Ketki won’t find out. Jhanak stands up for Priyanshi, saying there’s no harm in her dancing and she could even become a great dancer. Vihaan firmly disagrees and tells Jhanak not to interfere. Prachi tries to persuade Priyanshi to stop, but the child remains adamant. Vihaan firmly declares that dancing isn’t permitted in their household. Elsewhere, Arshi struggles to move around and feels neglected as Anirudh still hasn’t called her. She tries phoning him but gets no answer, growing more anxious. Shubh and Tanuja visit her and suggest she stay at the flat with Anirudh to avoid household stress. Arshi protests, saying she’s fine, but Shubh insists it’s best for her health. Tanuja offers to stay with Arshi while Anirudh is at work, even proposing to hire a maid. Bipasha, eavesdropping, fumes at what she sees as Tanuja trying to escape her duties. Though Laal tries to pacify her, Bipasha storms into the room and argues with Shubh. Tanuja explains Arshi’s pregnancy, but Bipasha mocks the idea and demands the flat for herself instead. Shubh scolds her, and she leaves angrily with Laal. Arshi then tells them that they’ll need to talk to Anirudh before making any decisions.
Later, when Anirudh returns to his room, Arshi asks if he found Jhanak. He lies, saying he hasn’t, though Arshi senses the truth and realizes he did meet her. Meanwhile, Mrinalini refuses to hear anything against the Basus. Her father, worried about her future without Shubh’s income, tries to dissuade her from going to live with them. Mrinalini accuses him of ruining her life and insists she’ll make her own choices. The argument turns serious when her father collapses with a heart attack.
Back at the Shah house, Jhanak vents her anger, declaring that girls also have the right to happiness and education. She urges Prachi to support Priyanshi or else risk failing her as a mother. Prachi breaks down in tears, deeply affected by Jhanak’s words.
UPCOMING
Anirudh confides in Vihaan that Arshi’s health is troubling him, and he’s feeling overwhelmed. Vihaan asks Anirudh to send him her medical report and tells him he and Avni are coming to Kolkata. Jhanak is left stunned to hear this. Vihaan says to Avni, “We have to go to Kolkata.”
