Jhanak On Starlife Sunday 8th June 2025 Written Episode Update
Bablu says that whoever is behind this tragedy must face the consequences. Vinayak, filled with guilt, turns to Jhanak and admits that his own family is responsible. He’s sure Shrishti is behind everything and promises Jhanak that he will expose the truth with solid proof. Anjana gently approaches Jhanak and tries to get her to drink some water, but Anirudh tells her to let Jhanak be for now. Choton and the rest of the family try to comfort her. Anirudh urges Jhanak not to give up, telling her that she’s not alone—everyone is with her, and she has to be strong and keep fighting.

Anjana insists on staying by Jhanak’s side, but Bablu stops her, saying Jhanak needs time to herself. As she walks alone, Jhanak hears Sadhus singing and the sound reminds her of Brij. Memories flood her mind and tears start falling. Anirudh brings Brij’s ashes and Jhanak clutches the urn tightly, breaking down in grief. She sobs and asks why she was the one left behind. Anirudh gently tells her that he wouldn’t be able to go on if she left. Jhanak proceeds to immerse the ashes, crying deeply through it all. Anjana reassures her that they all love her and want to see her rebuild her life, but Jhanak feels lost. She says she has to leave the city and disappear. Anirudh refuses to let her go and says she’ll stay with them for a few more days. Choton agrees and tells her they would never abandon her.
Elsewhere, Arshi enters, dressed beautifully, and receives compliments from Bipasha and Tanuja. But her expression is bitter. She says it’s pointless now—Anirudh never listened to her and only pretended to love her. She blames her luck for the betrayal. Tanuja doesn’t have the heart to say anything, especially after overhearing Choton suggesting to Anirudh that he should marry Jhanak. Lal is confused about why Choton would say that. Bipasha speculates that Choton thinks if Anirudh marries Jhanak, Aditya might help him with work.
Back in Anirudh’s house, he and Vinayak continue trying to convince Jhanak to stay. Meanwhile, in college, Rumi and Mimi talk about Dr. Sen. Rumi seems to be harboring a grudge and says she already got back at him once by exposing him. Her friends tease her, asking if she’s fallen in love. Mimi brushes it off and jokes that she’s thinking of welcoming someone with flower garlands. Rumi, still angry, says she wants revenge and asks her friends to be ready with their cameras. She says she’s planning to get a letter from the college to move things forward, and her friends agree to help.
At home, Jhanak sits alone in her room, grieving over the loss of both her parents. She looks at Brij’s photograph and breaks down, crying that they’ve taken her father away from her forever, and she doesn’t know how to go on. Meghla and Lalon arrive to see her. Meghla immediately embraces Jhanak and asks if they’ve found out who’s responsible. Jhanak silently shakes her head. Lalon says he has to leave for some work and will return to pick Meghla up. Meghla sits with Jhanak, offering comfort and telling her to stay strong—reminding her that her father will always be with her, in her heart.
At college, Rumi continues plotting her revenge. She tells her friends that Dr. Sen insulted her and she won’t let it go easily. She wants to make sure he pays for what he did and asks them to prepare their cameras. She plans to use a letter from the college as part of her scheme.
Later, Jhanak and Meghla sing a soft, emotional song together—“Do Naina.” The moment offers a small relief, and Jhanak thanks Meghla for her support. She then senses that something is troubling Meghla and gently asks about it. Meghla opens up and says Ranbir has stopped speaking to her. He seems to hate her now and is planning to marry Adrija. Jhanak advises her not to lose hope. She tells Meghla that if someone is trying to turn Ranbir against her, then she needs to stand her ground and fight for her love. Touched, Meghla promises Jhanak that she’ll always be there for her. She then encourages Jhanak to come outside with her for a walk in the garden. Jhanak hesitates and asks where they’re going. Meghla simply says it’ll help her feel better.

Jhanak refuses to eat. Dadi scolds her and demands an explanation. Anirudh steps in and declares that he was the one who asked Jhanak to stay. This sparks a heated argument between him and Arshi.
